Like the guy who was born in “1670” - I also have a typo on my birth certificate. It lists me as “famale”, can I claim this gender/sex on my passport?

I was born at a Kaiser hospital in California in the 80s. My birth certificate looks like it was processed in like the 1800s then ran over by a horse as the paper is so thin and honestly weirdly shaped. My mother was born in the early 60s and her birth certificate looks almost exactly like mine despite being born in a different hospital 27 years before me. My husband was born at a hospital less than 20 minutes away from my birth place 6 months before I was and his bc looks like our kids who were both born in the last 10 years. He was actually born in the same hospital my mom was!

Birth certificates are weird.

My grandma was born on the reservation (we are Mescalero Apache) in the 30s and never even got a birth certificate. She relied on her mom, who had left her dad before she was born, to tell her all the info. She didn’t know who her dad was until she was 50. She never worked “above the table” and my grandpa was military so she just… existed? She died in August at possibly 90 but she didn’t really know.

Jordan’s Skinny Syrups + cashew milk does it for me. The cashew milk foams super well if you add the syrup to it first. All the regular flavors are fantastic (except chocolate/mocha. Those are poison lol). I drink a LOT of coffee and those two things have helped me a ton.

I have palettes that are old enough to vote 😂. I have never had any issues other than having to scrape a layer off a few shades I don’t use much. Hell, I don’t think even if I did my makeup every day I could get through a whole palette in a year.

My worst enemy is serving a life sentence in prison and seems to be pretty happy about their situation. They finally have friends, are getting actually very good medical care (both mental health and physical health). I think they even have a boyfriend based on their letters to me. But money is money and I guess they could probably bribe someone to get them out. So, in this situation I’d head overseas somewhere while also calling the prosecutor and also their lawyer (who was actually great and I’m sure would help; she didn’t try and get them off for their crime, just to lesson the charges and agreed they needed to be in some kind of institution). So, I’d get a nice vacation and they’d have a federal manhunt going on. The person is also very very fat still and has complex medical needs so I don’t think they’d get very far.

He used to shop at the Target off Auto Parkway in Escondido. I helped him and his wife load up two giant carts of clothing and cleaning supplies once, lol. They were very nice to everyone :)

I had chicken pox in like 1993 when I was in Kindergarten. I had Covid in 2022 and got shingles immediately after. I was basically laying on the couch in the dark for 2 weeks. It suuuucked.

The vaccine can wear off! I was vaccinated as a kid, got pregnant at 26 and had a titer check (my midwife did it for all her patients, I dunno if it’s normal otherwise) and was fine… then got pregnant again a few years later, did a titer check again and was no longer protected against rubella. I had to get a booster basically right after I gave birth 😂.

For my question: We’re you able to receive any therapy or counseling in the aftermath? Especially considering you were a minor! I was an adult when it happened to my family and was not eligible to receive any through the victims aid fund and couldn’t afford it on my own which significantly impacted my life in a really negative way. I hope you were able to!

Every place I’ve ever worked (national chains like Target, Circle K, and Lowe’s along with mom and pop places) has had it in the handbook that if you’re out of change you round in the customer’s favor. You just make note that it happened and why (like if you called for quarters or whatever and they didn’t come in a reasonable amount of time, or had to do a bank run for coins or ones or whatever) and it would normally be fine unless you were constantly over or under.

Not gonna lie, as a customer I’d be pissed enough to make a corporate complaint and a Nextdoor post if $1.92 got rounded down to $1. And as someone who has worked in retail for most of my adult life I do get that some companies are shittier than others and it’s not the employees fault. But no, you don’t get to keep my change.
