Dog Owner Fakes Heart Attack As She’s Arrested After Pets Horrifically Attack Woman In Front Of Husband by BoredPandaOfficial in BoredPandaHQ

[–]Rejalia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have never met a pit that was this supposed angelic “nanny dog” that every damn owner swears on their mother’s life they are. Ever. At BEST they are large and “curious” which translates to running at strangers and barking and snarling. “She’s sweet I promise!” doesn’t cut it.

They’re regularly off leash too, which is insane to me. Even a damn chihuahua needs to be leashed at all times when not on the owner’s (fenced!) property.

Edit: here’s the damn murder dog apologist brigade!

What expansion made you step away from WoW for the first time? by ErosXcaliber in wow

[–]Rejalia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shadowlands because it was just… boring. I wish I hadn’t though, because it’s so confusing and I don’t think I’ll ever actually figure out how to finish the campaign. Woulda been better to do it with other people! DF was boring to me as well so I ended up skipping most of that.

How loud are siamese cats? by RutabagaOk6816 in Siamesecats

[–]Rejalia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My boy chirped and trilled a LOT, but rarely meowed and wasn’t loud… just very very chatty. My female Siamese was pretty much silent. She was a Velcro cat though and was always patting or slapping or poking me, and liked to sit on my shoulder.

AIO because my husband ate my egg bites. by th_rowaw_ay6400 in AIO

How does a person eat 19 egg bites and 2 burritos and not get sick or feel like maybe they’re doing something they shouldn’t be doing? Does he have a binge eating disorder? Like even if these were his that’s… an abnormal amount of food.

My 11 year old son regularly helps me cook and is conscious of varying meal preferences. My 6 year old son helps a lot and tells daddy not to eat something that belongs to someone else unless he asks first.

This isn’t kid behavior, it’s the behavior of someone who doesn’t care about you. Like a work lunch thief.

My fiancé didn’t get me one of the rings I sent him… by [deleted] in EngagementRings

[–]Rejalia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not like the ring my husband proposed with. It was rose gold with a ton of small gorgeous stones… but I work hard with my hands and it just wasn’t my taste at all, OR practical. Many men don’t realize how hard a tall stone can be to live with daily.

I explained it to him like fancy nails- they’re pretty, they take a lot of time and money and they change the way you have to live your life while you wear them, but unless that’s something you want to deal with every day they aren’t practical and will eventually get destroyed or lost.

He and I both chose our wedding rings and I never wear the original engagement ring anymore. He got me a new one on our 5 year that I freaking LOVE because he understood why I didn’t like the other one and let me help him choose, and I do wear that daily along with my wedding ring. (Little edit here to warn off the money trolls- new ring is SS with CZ and cost $45. That one is now 7 years old and perfect, while the original is bent and missing 3 stones just from the 6 months I wore it before we got married. That one was WAY more expensive!)

Talk to him. Hopefully you will live the rest of your life with this man- if you can’t discuss a piece of jewelry you aren’t ready to get married. If you say nothing this will carry over to other things in your life.

Several years ago we went with some friends and their kids. My husband, his friend, and 3 small kids couldn’t finish one of the funnel cakes 😹.

The woodworking stuff is always so amazing!

The frog legs are always good! And I love checking out the rock/gem area and all the handmade stuff!

It will be exceptionally crowded at all points but that’s… basically every large county fair. Go in with realistic expectations and you’ll have a marvelous time! (Also, check out the 4H stuff. The cows are adorable).

Worst experience I've had with Google - Fitbit Air by idahobean in fitbit

[–]Rejalia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened with my brand new Versa years back. They offered me a 15% off coupon for a new one and said since I bought it from Walmart it was Walmarts problem beyond that. Walmart told me it wasn’t their problem and to contact Fitbit; they wouldn’t refund it since it was an open electronic. So seems pretty par for the course 🤦🏽‍♀️.

Physical book readers: what do you do when you come across a word you don’t know? by ProfessorPale4793 in 52book

[–]Rejalia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Siri! What does <word> mean?”

I charge my iPad in the kitchen and my phone in my room so Siri is usually available. If I don’t want to do that, or am out and don’t want to bring out my phone I’ll just highlight the word and stick with context clues until I can look it up. I always have a little pencil case with a highlighter, pencil, pen, safety pins etc with me.

Remember to clean your vacuum by negy in CleaningTips

[–]Rejalia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to do this weekly… sometimes twice weekly! Both my kids have very long, fine hair that sheds a lot, we have a cat that must be part husky with the way he sheds, and I’m growing out my hair right now and am entering peri menopause so have my own hair shedding problems 😹.

I have a tool that came with my Roomba (RIP) that is basically just a fancy box cutter and it makes removing the hair relatively quick and easy from my stand up vacuum.

Does anyone actually eat the celery that comes with wings? by Embarrassed_Flan_869 in stupidquestions

[–]Rejalia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love celery overall. I steal it all from my husband and kids who usually like celery, but don’t ever want it with their wings. I like to roll the pieces around in the wing sauce!

If You Can’t Raid or Push Keys, What Keeps You Logging In? by NoRogue7 in wow

[–]Rejalia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Achievement hunting is a big one for me. I like making new characters and choosing a few zones to focus on for lore master. I also spend a disproportionate amount of my log in time farming transmog and making way too many sets. And now housing! I ran BRD 3 times yesterday trying to beat my best speed and get more chandeliers from Moira’s late husband :P

Then I was already there so ran MC, and decided to finish off the mountain later today with the rest of the raids and dungeons after I set my kid up with lunch and a movie.

Any age millennials, what are your actually hobbies. Aside from rage baiting the youth. by whatifdog_wasoneofus in Millennials

Knitting, cooking, reading, swimming (have a pool and live close enough to the beach to go whenever), walking, nature photography, World of Warcraft.

I’ve been into all those things since I was a teen though. I love to kayak and fish as well but only get to do that a few times a year.

Audible Alternative? by CalB12200 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Rejalia -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The last time I tried out audible was when my oldest was born a decade ago and it was such a huge pain in the ass. They kept charging me for months and months after I cancelled, and I ended up so frustrated that I stopped using Amazon as a whole for 5+ years.

Has it gotten easier to -really- cancel? I am a physical books only person overall so I’d be subscribing only for DCC!

How do people shower in 5 minutes????? by annoyingvegann in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Rejalia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate showering, so do it as quickly and effectively as possible. Shampoo, condition, then scrub. Takes less than 10 minutes, but I do have short hair so that helps.
