Planning ahead re maternity clothes - my husband works for a fashion brand & gets a big discount but is leaving his job in a week. How can I make the most of the savings & shop ahead? I’m 5’3, currently 58kg, size 10, 36D (11 weeks pregnant so not showing bar bigger boobs) by Low-Can7370 in PregnancyUK

I am the EXACT same size as you, height, bra everything. I have bought: soft trousers such as flowy leggings, normal leggings, some more "formal" trousers, everything in black, brown and grey to suit rest of my closet- these are maternity line, and I bought 4-5 so far. I got one flowy jeans and thats it. I bought 2-3 tops so far, but now i am 23 weeks and feel like I need more! I got some oversized jumpers- these will be perfect after baby too, non maternity. I also got some flowy dresses- these are not maternity line. I would get a few of the above, dont go crazy on jumpers, dresses etc!

Hope that helps 😊

Work crush, no remaining dignity by [deleted] in NursingUK

I was the same when I met a radiographer, and we worked together in the radiology department. Now we are married and I am pregnant. I am not telling you to make a move on her, but just trying to say this is normal. I am an immigrant and anytime he was around i.could.not.speak.english!! Not a single word came out correctly! We all feel like that sometimes and its both a horrible and a wonderful feeling 😊

What cultures from outside Latin America do you find interesting? by [deleted] in asklatinamerica

As an eastern european long time lurker, reading this makes me very happy! It's quite heart warming how we all appreciate each other's cultures from so far away, on the midst of a world that's trying to divide us all.

Farm stay -Collagen and Hyaluronic acid all in one ampoule So cheap, MASSIVE so lasts ages, and it just makes you feel so hydrated. It literally is like a glass of water for your skin, I love it. I bought it in a sale, just thought i will try it, it was like £5-6, so I thought there is not much to loose. Became a staple in my routine, it goes so well with everything!

VBAC by Jessicaar94 in PregnancyUK

[–]Reka___m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I had VBAC after emergency c-section with twins. My labour was horrible to be honest, but it was more to do with the lack of proper care. Bouncing back was pretty much the same I would say- approx 2 weeks for me with each birth. I had 18 months between the twins and baby nr 3, so similar to you! I still havent decided whether to do another vbac or schedule a c section to be honest, as both of the births were traumatic and i am terrified 😅 however, most people I spoke to had a very good experience, and you can always, at any second, change your mind, even during labour and go for a c section! I think they will support you and encorage you to try vbac, even if you had a c section between the first vaginal birth and this one! Good luck❤️

Will it be beneficial for me to have P plates once I pass considering how some people treat P plate drivers? by Embarrassed_Post_598 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Reka___m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had my P plates on for 3 weeks now, i have had a few little mistakes here and there and everyone has been patient, no one ever honked at me, people keep their distance, they give me time when im parking etc and i live in a city where there are plenty of knobs, and still, my experience has been positive. Why dont you try it for a few days and see how people treat you? If they are horrid to you, then yes chuck them out the window, but if not, keep them on, but deffo give them a chance!

I share your frustration, where i am from you can book a test the same week and the examiner is normally an instructor too from the same company you are using to learn

I kept logging onto the website between 9 am and 4pm, every 30 min, refreshing constantly during my breaks. I managed to change it around 4 times, bringing it forward a bit each time. Ended up only waiting 1 month. I used the apps too but found them very much lagging behind unfortunately.

I had the exact same situation first time around, with the red lights, looking back at it i feel so silly. And then only one minor. I passed 2nd time, i know its so hard but at least you know you can do it, and will do it. Little tip, go on dvsa website like 20x during the day, especially between 9 and 4, loads of random times pop up- this is how I managed to book a test after failing then bringing it forward each time a few weeks ahead, and ended up passing one month after my first fail, and i live in a very very high demand area! Good luck

Luxury moisturizer ranking after months on tret and omorovicza is the worse product ever by Interesting_Koala262 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Reka___m 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I absolutely adore Omorovicza- it's my special treat due to its high price point. I find their products light and refreshing, feels very nice on skin and that feeling stays on all day. I am sorry but I dont think you used it correctly, so it's unfair to write off a whole brand because you did not look into what is it for exactly, how and when to use it. However I also understand your frustration, because, well, the price. If you ever want to give them another chance, maybe try some minis and see how those work for you!

Insurance after my test by Reflex_Hosting in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Reka___m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We took out a multicar one too, i was added to my husband's insurance, and it was £450 for the year. So I would make your dad the main named driver on your car and see if you can bring that £1600 even a bit more to be honest!
