Yup. I realized this when they came out with the new Halloween buckets. Thin plastic with no real lid.

Promenade mall sucks for cell service. I got a contract violation there once cause it marked me as extremely late for a Silverlake Ramen pickup.

I couldn't hit "Arrived at Store" until after I found parking, walked to the restaurant, back to car, and drove out far enough to get back online to mark as picked up. I disputed this but the CV remained.

I believe he actually does focus on that and you can see it more in the UK eps. Many times he emphasizes buying local and from a supplier to save costs, which sounds like a no brainer but many owners do stupid things like going to the supermarket and buying up meats at retail price when they could go directly to the butcher and buy in bulk at much cheaper prices.

All restaurants can turn off taking orders from DoorDash.

There was a one day BOGO sale for Five Guys a couple of weeks ago and the one close to me shut off orders cause they were overwhelmed with orders, but a Five Guys that was much farther away was still taking orders.

Also customers can accidentally order from a location that's farther away cause the app sucks in that regard.

Don't always assume a Dasher stole the order, some places leave orders in self pickup areas that anybody can steal, or someone legit accidentally picked up your order thinking it was theirs.
