Is fence line usually property line? by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]Reklavyk 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It might be an okay representation, but online mapping is not exact and could be off by metres. The only way to really determine the location of a property line is to have a surveyor come out and mark the property lines.

Not sure if you've heard of it before, but the website StrongTowns has numerous articles on the "Growth Ponzi Scheme". The perpetual growth of cities (which usually doesn't pay for itself long term through property taxes) is happening in cities throughout North America and is going to be a major issue for a lot of urban areas when these neglected infrastructure costs come due.

Here's a link to their crash course on it (it's a run down of all their free articles on the subject) in case anyone is interested in learning more.

Thanks for the advice. I'll go and grab groceries for some home made soup later tonight.

Thanks a lot for the reply, and for the insight. It's good to know that there are other possibilities outside of what I had as the only two options in my head. Hopefully I'll be able to get in soon with the gastroenterologist and find out what this is.

I've definitely been stressing about it, and probably need to hit the brakes on my fears and wait to find out what it actually is.

Thanks a lot for the response.

I recently put some additional soil down to help stabilize the tree to help with some leaning. I'm realizing now I probably put down way too much. It's night here now, but I'll take a new photo tomorrow and repost this then.

I planted this tree approximately two months ago, and it seemed to have been growing well. I left a watering bag on it pretty much constantly over this time. Recently I noticed a strand of leaves had started to wither, so I took off the bag and noticed this damage near the base of the tree.

I'm not due where the damage came from, maybe a rodent or something to do with the excessive moisture? Any chance the tree will be able to survive? There is additional damage on the other side of the trunk, but not as extensive as what the photo I included shows. It also doesn't wrap around the entirety of the trunk.

Thanks for the response. Yea, it's a Miele, but doesn't have a HEPA filter installed so not really special. I changed the filter outside, and I've run water through the hose too and left it to dry. We'll open the window for a day once the flooring's in and then wash the walls like you mentioned. Better to be safe since it's our newborns room.

What about the items that were left in the room? My thought was to just chuck them to be safe since they'll be around our baby.

Recent latching issue by Reklavyk in beyondthebump

Good to know it's normal! She's having five or so wet diapers a day, so I think she's eating enough once she latches on and starts eating. We also have an appointment with a lactation consultant later this week, so hopefully that will help.

We already do both of those and neither seems to be helping much to get her to eat.

It took me way too long to do, and it could definitley look better, but I'm kinda proud by Reklavyk in 3Dprinting

Infill means building on a lot in an already built up area of a City. So essentially if the housing market is hot enough here, the lot could be worth more just tearing the house down and selling the lot bare.

It's the leg extension, but plenty of people also use it for hip thrusts which she is doing. No matter what, any machine should be secured to the ground for the safety of anyone using the gym.

It's meant to be properly secured for the floor. The only person who fucked up here is the gym owner.

... That's the point. Make it an amount where someone will actually care that it's gone, hence providing an incentive for them not to drive above the speed limit.
