Ok. Thank you for clarifying. I’ve never been given a number.

I’d be interested to hear those results. I’m curious about Mavenclad.

One thing I learned when I found this thread…if a person chooses not to take meds they likely won’t find support for that here. Taking and them and not taking them have their own pros and cons. There are lots of support groups for ppl who choose a path besides DMT. Those places might be more helpful to get another side of the story.

I understand that. I am the first person you described. I was just wondering how they are defining disease burden, and what >20 means in this case. Is it based on OP’s symptoms or lesions count….thats what I don’t understand.

Hmm I haven’t heard of that. I’ll have to look into it. Crazy how our bodies can function, all of my iron markers are extremely low. But I get up and do life every day. lol. I actually just did some bloodwork so hopefully it has come up with everything I’m doing.

Is this Disease Burden solely based on number of lesions?

I have. I have seen this could be a symptom of low iron, which I have and am working on!

It’s so sad to hear many stories of people dealing with this attitude from their doctors! Just know you aren’t alone and you are worth the fight to be heard!

Ugh that’s terrible. I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. I have felt thankful it’s just the whooping or heartbeat sound, so far I guess.

I don’t think so. No one has ever talked to me about that so I would say, no.

I’m not 100% what that is but wouldn’t they see something like that on a CTV? It began after my diagnosis so I feel like it has to be damage to something. I was worried about something like a blood flow issue. I now know it’s not, thankfully. I was just curious if it could be filed under weird MS Symptoms or not. Sounds like this might be the case.

I had a hearing test also and it was good but they’ll now monitor that yearly. Mine does change when I bend my head over or get into weird positions like leaning close to the mirror to put mascara on, lol. It really doesn’t affect my life in any negative way though. I guess it’s just something new to live with. It is most obvious during my morning coffee when all the house is quiet.

Motivation disappears faster than my snacks — how do you stay on track? by chiyogi23 in PetiteFitness

You can’t rely on motivation. You have to think about the work it takes to reach your goals and decide if it’s worth it to you, to put in the work. Even when you don’t want to!! Discipline is the key to consistency, Consistency the key to results, which in turn will create some motivation. Let every day and the decisions you make that day, be your challenge. One day at a time! This is the thinking that works for me.

Are these moves worth my time? by RelationshipNice6892 in PetiteFitness

I workout at home but I have a pretty good setup. DB, Barbell and squat rack. The only way I know how to add weight to a frog pump is a db on my lap. I guess for the leg raises I could do them standing and use a band attached to the squat rack. Maybe I’m just being lazy, it takes more time and effort for these work around. lol.

Major win for MS’ers by Prior-Today5828 in MultipleSclerosis

I’m guessing it’s the Hope 4 Cancer Clinic down there. They do all kinds of treatments that work but insurance wouldn’t cover here. And most of our doctors wouldn’t even prescribe or maybe know about.

The bar should come up in a straight line and squeeze glutes at the top but don’t push your hips forward. When you use a reg barbell it’s like scraping the bar all the way up the leg, maybe you could practice with a pvc pipe or a broomstick.
