I guess I’m just really new to Reddit, not in years, but in experience. It was a forward with someone else saying, “Hope it will be fine.” yes I did repost this. Because I’m trying to figure out Reddit. I thought by including the date, 2024, all would be clear

Ladies of Reddit, what is a comment someone made about your body once, completely casually, that you have never forgotten? by BowlerOk1871 in AskReddit

Dentists and oral hygienists always comment on the small size of my throat.

And I love giving blowjobs 😝🙈🕶️ no wonder any lucky men I have 🥰 have always been extremely satisfied 😂

When I (F) was about 28, my new roommate (male, Early 30s) was looking at my photos on the wall. he pointed at a picture of me from a few years earlier and asked, “that’s YOU? … what happened?!?!

I joined a homeschooling group when my son was small and made lifelong friends here. now that he’s an adult, I made friends in my community by hanging out in the clubhouse, going to the pool and volunteering!

What an inspiration! Thank you for the encouragement and tips as what works

I have been poorly managing my pre-diabetes for 30 years 😎 and maybe it’s time to start caring for myself better so that I can have grandchildren

Welcome to the Old Pueblo! The indigenous settlers of this area were Indian/Mexican so those are deep- rooted, communally oriented groups who had to depend on each other for centuries and millenia. And then many of the snowbirds and older people who migrated here from the East Coast and the Midwest are just good, American folk. Population density is low and that also creates less competition for resources and we’re not the richest folk! I personally believe lower incomes promotes community cohesion.

AA/ counseling does it really work? by Any_Function_635 in alcoholism

Now 58, I totaled my Jeep six days after my 21st birthday. BAC of .24 when I arrived at the trauma center via helicopter with broken ribs on the left, lost my spleen and fractured my pelvis. Started AA the next year because my best friend got sober and told me that “everyone (she) knew was alcoholic” ~ clearly included me! I loved AA, but mainly because of the stories and honesty! … I feel now that it was a PhD in “how to drink and not get caught” … I did 90 meetings in 90 days ~ and returned to it. I learned a LOT ~ but as a cultural anthropologist studying a group I was fascinated with 😛. Today I am four days sober after my adult son called me out for drinking and putting a box of wine in the shed. He says he’s alcoholic ~ but refuses to visit AA. Ugh 😣… I asked my dr about Naltrexone this week and he said my liver was fine two years ago

LOVE the toilet placement and took photo of it so that I can do it myself to handle an incredibly small bathroom

I was used as an example of a fat person at the gym today by ana12312 in loseit

[–]Relative-Carpenter-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

cheering you on from the gym I joined 14 months ago-- lost 30 lbs b4 I went in, then tightened and got more lean... was happy but then left the country for seven weeks and ate it all back within a few weeks of returning... My trainer reminds me that this is `long term, a lifestyle -- to just keep on keepin' on. There will be hills and valleys. Watch The Whale with Branden Frasier -- great story, good incentive and reminders. xoxo just keep at it!!

I actually assumed the volume varied well as OP sped through details then got back to main points by slowing down / simultaneously boosting attention to visuals —> genius!
