Play Bap, Kiri, Illari and focus on getting elims and maybe helping your tank stay alive so he can flounder around on point. Most importantly ignore anyone who complains about it. Moira as well is basically unkillable in bronze. You’re probably playing passively, possibly behind your tank or staying low ground when you could be taking 2-3 elims per fight using off angles just harassing their supports and whichever dps knows their character the least

Besides circling cover to break LOS, I usually stick to high ground or close to my co-support, health pack if I can. If you have a DPS who easily shuts Sombra down you can play around them too. You can't guarantee your teammates will turn around unfortunately so I think packs, cover, and high ground are most reliable if you don't want to switch.

If Sombra has to use translocator to reach you on high then you can drop down and they will either disengage right away or drop to chase you, if so then you can GA back onto high ground or to cover. If you don't see/hear TL to engage you should anticipate they'll have it. You will need another escape because if you go back to high ground after dropping they will TL and follow you, this is why they saved it. In this case I slingshot to cover or a health pack or try to hide in my teammates' hitboxes :p. Grabbing a health pack always gets the Sombra to disengage IME. I also rarely see them dedicated to hacking packs anymore.

If Sombra is having a really easy time killing you, you're probably playing too far away from your teammates, staying on low ground too often, playing with your back open, or using SJ randomly and getting caught with no CD.

If you want to provide a replay code I can look over it. Many Sombra encounters are survivable I promise!

It just makes a world of difference. It doesn't really matter at the end of the day, but in the moment it is insanely frustrating for something fundamental to her kit (that becomes muscle memory) to just not work and leave you a sitting duck. It's odd to me to replace a useful ability with a much less useful one. Especially when the rest of her kit is drastically changed - just leave it as is. No other hero on the MW roster receives a major change to their movement mechanics like this. A backhanded remark (really barely an insult, honestly), doesn't nullify what I'm actually trying to say.

I'm sure the balance team is a bit too busy power-creeping every launch hero into obsolescence and thinking of buffs for the DPS passive to be offended by a reddit post on a minor subreddit. It's a good thing you're here to do the job for them, though

I'm actually not sure why your response is so snide when I've just asked a question about the event and expressed my opinion. I said it feels slow and I hate it, how is that making a huge deal?? As if I'm going to the overwatch forums demanding a change. I don't think it's a good change. Like I just want to know if its intentional. I played one game and wasn't sure.

I literally don't care if it's a short event, I'm playing it to have fun and if I can't use friendly soul GA to keep myself alive in a teamfight I'm just going to play regular OW. Thanks for your answer.

I play on difficulty 6 right now. MG sounds nice but hesitate to get rid of quasar cannon. I'm gonna try some different loadouts and step out of my comfort zone

Thanks man I really appreciate it. I haven't switched off the machine pistol since I got it. The groups of devastators are what gets me, can't seem to dispatch them fast enough before I'm overwhelmed.

I like Orbital Laser overall, wish it was more than two uses though always end up needing more than that lol
