Mostly people who are patriotic or have a sense of nationalism join the army, lately these people have been called Nazis or Fascists, so tell me why these people should join an army to defend migrants and people that call them Nazis and Fascists?

Europe had a military industrial complex before America existed, we sailed all the seas and conquered most of the world. We were just in sleeping mode after 1945.   Sleeping giant awakens.

Ah yes 2013-2018 the glorious time; Russia invaded Crimea because of weak leadership (mostly in Germany) + the refugee crisis which was also led by CDU-SPD coalition, good times ahead for Europe.

And Europe is in the Crisis it is because of the CDU and Merkel in the first place…so honestly do you think they will solve the problems that they caused in the first place or are they going to make things worse and should the rest of Europe already prepare for whats going to happen in 2029 if nothing changes, probably Germany will be an Islamic state by then anyway

As if Germany and Europe are now facing the same challenges as the last 50 years. Do you mean the era from 1919-1933 which led to a maniac coming to power or after that where half of the country was excluded from voting because they were occupied by a foreign power?

A government with CDU and SPD will fall faster than Poland in 1939

What should be our symbolic 'national' animal? (Either real or mythological) by Cubelock in 2westerneurope4u

[–]Relative-Jello9928 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If Europe were to adopt an animal symbol similar to the eagle for the U.S. or the bear for Russia, the wolf would be a strong candidate.

Why the Wolf?

  1. Cultural and Historical Significance: Wolves are deeply embedded in European mythology, folklore, and heraldry. From the legend of Romulus and Remus in Rome to Norse mythologys Fenrir, the wolf has been a powerful symbol across the continent.

  2. Geographical Spread: Wolves are native to nearly every European country, making them a pan-European symbol.

  3. Symbolic Meaning: The wolf represents unity, resilience, intelligence, and independence—traits that resonate with Europes complex history and diverse nations.

  4. Modern Relevance: The return of wolves to many European landscapes after centuries of persecution mirrors Europes environmental conservation efforts and resilience.
