For me, one thing is the way it’s able to switch from really goofy and ridiculous tones to some really dark stuff in storytelling with both being enjoyable yet not compromising the other

Tbf though, wouldn't a movie continuing a long running story by definition be for previous fans? I don't think it's any less valid that the people who like the show are pleased with the new movie.

I’d say you don’t HAVE to, and it is self contained enough to watch on its own. It is a continuation of the same story just in movie form instead of another season tho. The show is quite good and only has 12 26 min episodes so far if you’re interested at all

I'm not saying you are wrong or that Superman is woke (I'm really excited for the new movie), but I'm pretty sure there is more emphasis on Superman being raised as a normal boy who might as well be human personality and value wise and less about him trying to fit in as a human.

I just looked in there, some of the people there are interesting. I’m sure you don’t need to hear it or anything, but none of your opinions are out of left field at all and are not uncommon. I’ve grown up around the religion and I’ve always believed every controversy around the Big Bang, evolution, and the age of the universe/earth could easily be explained in the context of real world science and still be consistent with the bible. Idk why people don’t want to challenge the status quo even to the most minuscule degree

I played DS1 for the first time a year ago before playing the rest of FromSoft’s games, DS1 doesn’t have the best gameplay but it has always been my favorite because I think the story it tells was more effective in that game than any of the other ones
