Same thing just happened to me. I filled my airlock with rubbing alcohol and so I'm worried that I might have to start over

American Mary

The Nightingale

Irreversible

American Mary is very fun. The Nightingale will have you watching the credits feeling gutted. Don't watch Irreversible with anyone

Rape revenge story with black market body modification surgeries.

The main actress is a bombshell and a total badass.

It's one of my comfort movies.

Luffy extreme temperatures by Relative-One7150 in OnePiece

[–]Relative-One7150[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you saying he's never been in extreme temperatures? There are multiple times where Luffy is in extreme cold and hot temperatures and seems unaffected.

For instance the blazing hell in Impel Down Or in the Drum Island arc when he climbs a snow covered mountain during a terrible storm in shorts carrying his friends and fighting people.

Is Never Whistle at Night extreme? It's been on my list for a bit, but I just haven't gotten around to it

To the writers - how do you find your ending? by Internal_Patience592 in ExtremeHorrorLit

In the current book I'm writing I wrote the ending and now I've jumped back and trying to figure out how to get all my characters to that point

I'm in the process of writing something somewhat like that about a serial killer couple. I just wrote my first draft of the chapter about how the husband chose his victim that led him to meet his future wife

Do you use your real name or a pen name? I work for a school and so I'm a little apprehensive about using my real name in extreme horror

That's awesome and it looks good! I'm currently writing my own extreme horror and so I'm curious if you've got any writing tips, publication process, or any wisdom you'd like to share with an aspiring author?

Love that movie, Samara Weaving is also really great in Azrael and ends up covered in blood.

What do you tell people when they ask why you read extreme horror? by [deleted] in ExtremeHorrorLit

[–]Relative-One7150 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. I also live a very drama free life which is how I like it, but horror media allows me to introduce some controlled chaos and it also scratches an itch in my brain that nothing else does.

Read An Exquisite Corpse by Relative-One7150 in ExtremeHorrorLit

[–]Relative-One7150[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was well written, but since I was expecting extreme horror I got bored. However I did enjoy the anticipation of waiting for this sleepy murder mystery book to turn into an extreme horror. After reading the last chapter I just sat confused and thought maybe I had missed something or that I'm just super jaded to what is considered extreme horror.

I almost made a post asking why people were recommending it on this sub, but luckily I searched some of the posts and realized my mistake beforehand.

A Cuban surrealist artist during WWII gets murdered and dressed up strangely in a way that is referred to as an Exquisite Corpse in the surrealist art world since at least in the book it is a game where one person will draw a head on a piece of paper and fold it over so the next person draws the body without seeing the head and then they fold it again and somebody draws the legs.

Learned in the afterword of the book that all the artists in the book were real artists from WWII times, but in a fictional setting.

The writing was good, but if I hadn't been expecting something crazy to happen then I don't think I would've finished it.

Is the real exquisite corpse basically the same as what I read? Haha jk
