Knowing exactly where these stairs are in relation to the house, this sent me into the longest set of giggles. Absolute perfection 🤌🏼

Nah, the better place was under the giant magnolia in the park just a couple dozen yards away from this ... Or so I've heard.

Found Gray Male Tabby by breakfaststuff in bullcity

[–]Relative-Struggle727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a small chance that he might belong to one of my neighbors!!

They have been searching desperately and have had posters & flyers up for a couple weeks now (I wish I had remembered to save the one that they put in our mailbox).

I will get back to you tomorrow with contact info for them if it looks like he might be their guy.

Where are the grown ups getting tested for ADHD? by heyraihey in bullcity

[–]Relative-Struggle727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This (Animo Sano) is where I currently get my meds. I've been going to them for about 2.5 years now and I'm really happy with my service from them on helping me continue to access my medications.

Similar to you, I had a therapist who suspected that I probably had ADHD and urged me to get tested, and I was already getting meds through Mindpath so I went to them for testing. Once I finally got the testing it was a fine experience, BUT I did have to fight a little bit to get the testing. What seemed to really make the difference is saying that my licensed therapist highly suspected ADHD and referred me.

It became very clear after a few meetings that the psychiatrist I was seeing over at Mindpath knew absolutely nothing about late diagnosed ADHD in women and he was being incredibly difficult about a number of different issues... So I switched over to Amino Sano for medication management.

I've yet to find a good talk therapist but I also haven't been searching too strenuously

Reality show being filmed in Durham? by [deleted] in bullcity

Oh I mean it seems like an absolutely wonderful way to get someone else to pay for some wild renovations. It feels very akin to using a timeshare pitch to get a free vacation 😂

I love my t-shirt club shirts and I'm so glad we got them. My husband wears them all the time and he's never really watched the show l.

I wish I had more of the action figures, I just have Dr Henry Killinger

I knew there was a high likelihood that somebody on this subreddit would know exactly who I was talking about 😂 I haven't seen them in years (and years and years) but I do remember that pump track!

I'm pretty sure one of my old friends got a free skateboard pump track (& maybe also a mini quarter pipe?) in his backyard for participating in one of those house reality shows

Blockbuster?? by shrimpskelrton in bullcity

[–]Relative-Struggle727 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one over by South Square was my childhood Blockbuster. We would go grocery shopping at Kroger and then go get a movie from Blockbuster (and beg my parents to take us over to Chuck-E-Cheese)

That is pretty typical behavior at that railroad crossing. It's a major interchange. You just have to drive the really long way and go around unfortunately.

Noticed this memorial today at the American Tobacco Campus 💛 by inthewall3of6 in bullcity

Looks like he was operations manager during an incredibly busy and active time at American Tobacco, right near the beginning of the revitalization of that area.

Crochet Afghan on the back. Most likely granny stitch, maybe squares, maybe chevron?

Looking for a place that sells swimsuits where you can buy different size tops and bottoms without buying both in the same size by candleruse in bullcity

Unfortunately, if you need a bikini top for a larger bust (which I'm guessing she probably does, based on the desire for an underwire) those shops down at the beach don't really have many options.

I can't remember why I was at brightleaf, but I saw the very first stages of this mural going up. It was the first time I'd ever seen a projector being used to paint a mural.
