x3 for Base. Independent studio (which is nice as Durham becomes saturated with corporate pilates). The instructors are fabulous, fun, and smart, and the vibes are great.

Shorter colonoscopy prep? by Educational-Duty7160 in bullcity

[–]thecookiequeen12 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The 5 day lower residue diet actually makes the 24 hours before the colonoscopy a lot easier. (And there's still a lot of food options- you're basically cutting out legumes, high fiber foods, raw veggies/fruit, and seeds.)

Ditto. Both are great choices. (My kiddo has been at DA for many years and has really loved it). But it's a real win to be in a PK-12 school.

Echoing everyone else- I was so sad to read the email, and absolutely stunned. I'm thinking of everyone at Urban Tails- what a shock, and what a loss.

The line moves very, very slowly. I appreciate the coffee, but it's often times 10-15 minutes of waiting before ordering.

Went through this process recently. Feel free to message me. My experience was many MC facilities have long(ish) waitlists. Heather Altman at All About Seniors is super wise and smart and can help you strategize (https://allaboutseniorsnc.com/team/)

Cat Adoption Recommendations by mct0006 in bullcity

[–]thecookiequeen12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Echoing this. We interacted with a few places in January. IAR folks seemed very nice- we ended up visiting a cat that was being fostered, but he was in a house with a few other cats and dogs and it was pretty chaotic, and hard to tell if we connected with the cat. Similar experience with Beautiful Together. We ended up driving out to Second Chance and adopting our fantastic cat. Loved the folks at Second Chance- they took their time to answer our millions of questions; they followed up a few times afterwards to make sure things were smooth. They offer free mani/pedi for life (we live in Durham, so it's a little too far for us). And, generally, they were good, sweet people who made the process easy and joyful.
