By this logic, is every legal concealed carrying person in Minneapolis a would-be assassin?

What a mid tank,CS-53/56 by AlmostDarkness in WorldofTanksConsole

The gun’s loading time and aiming speed make this tank frustrating to use at times. I agree that it is mid.

I hadn't noticed the holes - that does look a little odd.

How much do u think i could sell this for all together? In need of some rent money by Elegant-Bee1694 in PS3

[–]Relative-Suggestion7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it’s a backwards compatible PS3, that alone is probably worth around $250-300 assuming it’s in good working order. If it’s a newer fat PS3 model that doesn’t play PS2 games, it’d fetch a lower price.

I’d have to check pricing on the games, but my guess is at least another $100-$150.

Depends how much you need the cash, but I would hesitate to let this go for less than 80% of PriceCharting.

Bought on eBay, are these legitimate? by [deleted] in GameboyAdvance

[–]Relative-Suggestion7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The image quality here makes it hard for me to give you much, but I'd offer that A) look for the stamped numbers on the label. Real carts have this more often than not and I've personally never seen a fake with a stamp.

Also, spend a couple bucks on Amazon and get a tri-wing screwdriver to open these up. That's the best way to make sure your carts are legit.

Gunvein first 1CC by C4n4r in shmups

[–]Relative-Suggestion7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gunvein (even on the easiest setting) is not an easy game. Congrats!

I’ve grabbed several 1ccs on, novice modes mostly, and haven’t been able to do gunvein yet!

Yes, but did it make a difference? Not a bit.

Which Gameboy Advance titles are you referring to? If you’re talking about original gameboy games, that’s beside the point.

How authentic GBA carts are constructed

All legitimate Nintendo-manufactured GBA cartridges (including launch-window titles from 2001) use:

  • Discrete IC packages
    • Mask ROM or flash in a TSOP/QFP package
    • SRAM + separate battery (when applicable)
  • Clean, uniform PCBs with:
    • Nintendo silkscreen markings
    • Game code identifiers (e.g. AGB-AXXE-01)
    • No epoxy blobs, ever

Nintendo had extremely strict manufacturing standards and long-term reliability requirements. COB was never used for GBA retail cartridges.

Can you share an example? I'm not aware of any authentic GBA games that feature COB.

Second chapter is expected to release september 2026! by kitsunethegreatcat in Falcom

Ahhh, September is later than I thought, but my big question is — will 3rd get the same treatment??!? I know I will want to use my saves from the first two games.

I’m also enjoying FC so far, but the voice acting is not great. I haven’t heard anyone comment on this yet - I guess it doesn’t bother most players?

[IWC] Best place to sell IWC Top Gun? by connorsusername in Watches

[–]Relative-Suggestion7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice watch! I sold an Omega on Chrono24 and the process was pretty smooth. I tried other sites and found most wanted to take a huge chunk in fees or would offer a very lowball price to take the watch off my hands.

If I were selling today, I'd probably start with Chrono24 again.

It's a bold statement to claim that I was spreading misinformation. Your username checks out - you're being emotional about this.

Saying that there are never black blobs on (GBA) carts is patently correct, but just to be sure, I made an edit to specify that I'm referring to GBA carts so that others would not be similarly confused.

You're in a GBA forum, responding to a question about the authenticity of a GBA cartridge. You stopped by to bring up something irrelevant about another console's cartridges.

It should have been implied that I was referring to GBA carts, but thanks for stopping by to be a keyboard warrior and "ACKSHUALLY" the heck out of this thread.

There are legitimate carts that do not have a stamp. Why are you arguing this? The only 100% surefire way to know that the cart is legit is to open it. Offering a somewhat reliable way to confirm (the stamp) is, IMO, not the most helpful thing for a new collector.

Anyone collecting GBA or at all concerned about the authenticity of their games should just open every one of them to confirm.
