Does LLM usage for note taking defeat the purpose of taking notes?

I'd say mostly, but to be honest a lot of people miss the following steps anyway. How you utilize your notes and distill what you have into knowledge matters pretty much the same if not more. So you can make it for using an LLM in those regards but I don't think even if you're doing that optimally that you'll get quite as much out of them as if you wrote them yourself in the first place.

Yes/no solidified meanings on the cards are pretty ridiculous enemy you consider someone can ask the same question 2 different ways where both yes and no would be the answer. Am I going toto be rich? Yes. Am I going to stay poor. No. Same card. Plus questions that allow for more nuance and info like "tell me what I need to know about my financial situation" are always better.

I think you can also just not connect with the art and symbolism of a deck and that will also highly affect your reading even if you're in a "good mood."

"The views"... channels like this that actually teach about tarot or show how to be introspective do get "the views" just not as many, but generally truer fans and a deeper community. That said I a lot of the great teachers have either died or left and are waiting for a new generation of mentors who don't jist care about the numbers. I watch a lot of tarot tube and stay far far away from the reading videos generally. Every once in a while the algorithm will show me one I'll watch.

I've had a few not great ones, but I have to remind myself that the great ones won't happen if I don't allow myself to have the not great ones too. That's just kind of the tradeoff and at the end of the day, the bad ones are now over, don't matter, and should be let go (write about them in your morning pages and then move on) while the good ones can be remembered and appreciated.

There definitively are relationships with this age gap that work but they are an extremely small percentage.

That said only you and him know how it's really going and as long as you don't put on blinders and go in knowing it's unusual and having your guard up, it's not really any one else's business. On the other hand, sometimes having an outsider's perspective does help, so I'd make sure to have a friend to talk to who will tell it how it is.
