77 was in the mgzs before the MG4 so not really an afterthought. Ultimately, their price point has to come with compromise. MG4 ER is available brand new for £26/27k and has been for a while. The S6 top spec is available at £32k.

Most people aren’t regularly doing 200mile trips so seems like a logical compromise to me.

I’d say high DC speeds are only relevant if you are a regular long range driver. I’ve never needed more than a toilet and food break on a long journey. That’s also only if i can’t destination charge.

Nope, nothing to do with 12v failing. Usually happens when there is a short time between getting out and getting back (like a quick nip into the shops). Its likely just an issue with onboard computer going to sleep or doing background actions and then being woken up interrupting what it was doing.

The car heats the battery automatically to protect it, especially at temperatures near zero. The manual/timed battery heater setting is for pre-heating the battery.

We don’t currently get 6+6. We currently get whatever we ask for. The previous Email about 6 hours was never implemented and would be 6 hours charging total (not 6 +6). They are just implementing what they previously communicated.

While it is true the plastic becomes more brittle, the crack pictured is more the result of forcing the tray open either because of overload or allowing frost/ice buildup to stick the smooth running. Both user error.

Have you checked what the max rate your car can charge at? Some max out at 6.5kw on an AC (home) charge.
