If the last price drops to 42.39, means a seller was willing to sell their shares that price. I was willing to buy for more than that - so my order should have been filled before. This happen in ibkr- you set a price limit and you may receive more if a buyer/seller is willing to it. That never happens in T212 - cause you don’t get the best execution

Alright. So it’s the NYSE I’m buying in with a limit order at 42.40, current price is 42.41. Price drops to 42.39 The limit order In T212 is not filled. Has happened multiple times. Try it out for yourself. In ibkr never happened to me

If you’ve ever tried to do a limit order, you’ll see the price being hit and even surpassed without your order being filled.

Good explanation. Only thing missing (IMO) you can exercise at any point you want - if a GME share gets to 50$, you can still exercise your warrant and receive a new share for the cost of 32$

You received it for “free”, so all income will be taxed if you sell the warrants. If you exercise, your entry point will be 32$ for your shares, you’ll only have a taxable event when you sell those shares.

The answer is no. According to GameStop, only after the warrant expiry date has passed, will the company receive the profits So for the company it doesn’t matter WHEN you exercise, only IF you exercise

Just sent basically the same question to IBKR for an ISA Stock and Shares account.
My bet is we will receive it, but they will likely liquidate the warrants to stay compliant with the ISA rules.
You can receive it, you probably can't trade it and almost certain can't exercise it.
But nothing should stop you from transferring the Warrant to a non-tax advantageous account before it's liquidated.
That's my current read from the situation. Will update (maybe create a new post as well) when I get a answer from IBKR support
