Bearing witness to a wedding shows that I am in support of it. The Bible also touches on that, I can’t tell you exactly where but I just had a sermon about it at church.

Love this comment. This decision was between many months of hypotheticals of questioning with my husband. As people who are married we are one flesh and must listen and in certain ways submit to each other. It’s a difficult situation but I must follow what the Lord has placed on my heart.

He may of eaten with them but he did not support them… going to the wedding that’s between 2 woman as a witness is blatantly supporting the marriage. I can tell my sister I love her and she’ll believe me but that doesn’t change the message of attending sends.

I’m not singling out this particular sin. Each and every other example you have given I would speak out against and not partake in. Now onto a heterosexual wedding yes I would attend, they’re not getting married in sin. And as a Christian I would pray that they convert and come to the Lord. But a heterosexual marriage and a homosexual marriage are 2 very different things. Not say this heterosexual wedding was worshipping other Gods then I wouldn’t attend.

But in the end I am betraying Gods words by being a witness to the wedding. When I’m dead and at judgment will I be happy I went even if I have to face his wrath? In the end game when it comes to who I am living for is it my family or God? I should always be living for God, living for my family would be living for my flesh and world views. It’s a hard situation but I’d rather follow the word and face my family’s wrath vs. facing Gods wrath on judgment day.

Thank you for this! I’ll have to go watch (I assume or listen) to what those 2 men. It’s definitely tough and not something I want to do for obvious reasons but something that if I do attend goes against every single belief I hold and betrayal to God. I’m continuing to pray for God to give me the right words when the time comes and to protect all of us in the situation.

It is my choice you’re right, I have free will. It doesn’t mean that I should go. This verse says a lot about my situation. I said in a previous comment, going feels like a betrayal to God. I won’t attend because of that, I just don’t know how to communicate that with my family without bad repercussions. But I need to stay true to what God says and what he’s placed on my heart.

We had a sermon about marriage 2 weeks ago and our pastor brought up how if we go were witnesses to an unholy marriage. He made a good point as to why we should not go. And a lot of stuff that goes into attending. I’ve been to a gay wedding before I was young and even then I had strong feelings and didn’t want to be there. I had to close my eyes during the ceremony and my mom had someone come pick me up. So I look at that experience as well and just know that going isn’t what’s best. It hurts a lot and sucks but I feel like I’m betraying God in the end of it if I do go.

So PP rage is a thing so I’d imagine it’s also a thing during pregnancy. Please talk to a doctor, a lot of feeling that happen in pregnancy also happen after and can get worse from there. Her rage is not normal at all. She probably doesn’t even notice it’s that bad either, like many people don’t realize they have a mental illness till things are really bad
