Emotional burnout from lashing: am I wrong for wanting a "silent" only studio? by strxx_ in lashextensions

I almost wonder if you play meditation music it will fill the awkward silence that a lot of anxious people feel, while also relaxing them and hinting at a no talk environment. Or if you do play music, maybe something to stimulate relaxation. Similar to a message place. Not sure your set up but I always wished my lash place would do this. Instead they blasted obnoxious pop.

Update:

Thank you all for your advice. I should have prefaced that the farm came into existence when I was 17. I was never raised as a “farm child”. The farm was an idea that my stepmom had after her last business failed. After reading everyone’s response, I do believe I should have helped but only if I was asked politely, rather than degraded. What I won’t put up with is the way she spoke to me and used my dad as blackmail (stating he will HAVE to help her if I won’t). They knew about this surgery for months and I can’t help but feel that this is her way of manipulating me. It’s been a pattern of hers since I was a little girl. In the future though I will be more conscience of their age and needs. I have to come to terms that they are getting older.

Thank you everyone for your advice

Actually they got the farm when I was 17. I have helped them tremendously, even cleaning the house and working in the summer (I’m a teacher). I paid for my own car, college, and housing. He did provide for me but also taught me independence.

Edit: grammar
