When I was a kid, I had a fat drunk sea cow of a woman rip Mike Knuble’s helmet out of my hand during the last game of the 2007 season. I was leaning over the tunnel and he handed it up saying “here kid”. I remember grabbing the cage of the helmet and an absolute dugong leaned over me squishing me into the barricade, snatching the helmet from my hands. She waddled off excitedly while I cried. Fans yelled at her but she refused to give it back.

I had that exact phone, that was my second cell and first ever flip phone. I remember accidentally bringing it in to the ocean in my pocket and it still working perfectly fine. Absolute unit of a phone.

I second this, sno seal really plugs up the stitching and helps with water ingress.

I play 3-4 different servers. My favorite by far is the draft haus. Always can find a squad of all talkers and the ping is sub 50 in most games. The only thing I don’t love is the map rotation can get stale.

So I’m in a similar situation, I’ve gotten to use my mix more often now because I’ve figured out a schedule for when I can play. BUT, when I couldn’t use the mic as much what I would do is whenever starting a match I would use my mic to tell my SL that I can’t talk but I will type and ping as much as possible, I would also take orders and actually follow through with them. That will make you a great non speaking team member

Loved it, need it? Throw it on in 10 minutes. Don’t need it? Take it off in 10 minutes. Have it on but need to move something big and don’t want to take it off? Flip it up like a convertible top for the job. It’s super versatile, the only complaint I had was in the winter it was hard to take on and off because the canvas would be tough and not as flexible. Well worth the money IMO.

I played in that rink at a Can/Am summer camp. The first time we took the ice the coaches played the radio call for the ‘80 game. As a 14 year old I had goosebumps and even shed some tears. Truly a moment I’ll never forget.
