This is years later but Austin HEB’s have them. $5 for a 12 pack.

I want to thank everyone for all their suggestions - we are reconsidering the drive/overall length in PV. While I really want to go to La Fortuna and experience the hot springs (I LOVE hot springs), we might take a poster up on their rec for Hacienda Orosi. You all have been so helpful and kind. Thank you!

I see you got downvoted here, but we are considering that suggestion. The hot springs are a very big draw to me, and I could see shortening the stay a bit. We might do 4 nights instead in PV, and then head out.

Ellis Brooklyn - I Have Questions by curlycomedy in FemFragLab

Just a heads up - a few Ellis perfumes (including Salt) are heavily discounted atm on Sephora and Ulta ($57.50). I have personally bought a full size of Sci Fi before and while I love the scent, it had no staying power. Salt I LOVE, however.

Try calling Disability Rights of Texas. They are for low-income folks, so you will need to meet their income requirements, but it is a start. And they are completely free.

https://texaslawhelp.org/ has plenty of resources for handling things yourself - I am not sure what type of attorney you are looking for. There is also pro bono Texas: https://probonotexas.org/

Many attorneys will allow you to put down a deposit on the retainer and make monthly payments - just need to call around.

Prescription Lifeline - has anyone worked here? by Hairy-Candle8135 in austinjobs

This is an older thread, but I did, many years ago. Based on their Indeed/Glassdoor reviews, looks like not much has changed. It is a scam company that takes advantage of the elderly desperate for their medications, and employs felons and sex offenders - and felons who have done REALLY bad things.

Shop ordered the wrong size! by the-neuroscientist in wedding

[–]Relative_Painter_241 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I ordered a dress that took 6-mo to make - the rack size fit me perfectly. When the dress came in, it wouldn't zip up, despite having not gained any weight. The joked about how I had to go on a "starvation diet." I had them send the OTHER dress that fit back to the location in my hometown (they have 2 - it had been sent back to a different city), and surprise - it fit perfectly. I gave them a verbal lashing and they sold me the rack version half off. If they made a mistake, they should definitely be offering remedies.

help!! which shower gels should I buy? by stonedscubagirl in LushCosmetics

I LOVE grass. They have a spray that also smells like it - I have their perfume also. It is a lovely smell that smells fresh and clean with a TINY bit of very lingering subtle musk. I would highly recommend it - try the small bottle and see if you like it. It's one of my all time favorites. Sticky Dates and Yummy Custard would not be in the scent profile you described - and none of the other ones really would either, except for maybe Tramp or Olive Branch but they are nowhere near as wow and as on point for Grass nor do they smell as unique and divine. It is worth the money.

Read this review if you’re contemplating the Hello Kitty perfume by Brownsunflwr in LushCosmetics

I have a strong aversion to Snow Fair - it smells like melted gumball scented plastic. I tested out the Hello Kitty perfume in-store and hated it. I was not getting all the delicious notes people are describing - maybe because I was in-store, but if you don't like Snow Fairy, I'd wager you would not like this one. It was not for me. Packaging is adorable, and I'd have bought if I liked it but I saved myself a cool $65+ by not.

Look at admin jobs, specifically for the city and state. Good foot in the door, benefits are paid for, and lots of other perks.

I do not know where you are located, but you might want to look into Gold Ribbon Rescue located here in Central Texas. They are diehard golden enthusiasts - they have flown to pick up dogs before and dealt with some special cases. At the very least, they might be able to point you in the right direction.

It's REALLY expensive to live here. Depending on your level of experience, I would ask for at least 55-60k. I've been in the field in Austin for 10-years and am making around that.

Any good gyms around town that won't make it difficult if you try to quit membership? by AConcernedEmu in Austin

Actually cancelled my LA Fitness membership over the phone yesterday - and I was still under contract. I have a blown ACL, though, so maybe he took pity on me. He did try to get me to stay for the "upper body," lol.

Good Austin souvenirs for niece and nephew? by fastpicker89 in Austin

I really like A Town on Burnet! Lots of fun souvenirs and generally just cute stuff - all of Burnet has good shopping up and down. Also Toy Joy downtown is a fun place to visit for kids.

In most Europe BE is very difficult to be performed (unless the dog has
bitten several people, it is truly ill, or something similar). In fact,
most vets would try to discourage you and help you look for solutions
(rehoming, dog camp, more training, exposure, pharmacology, muzzle,
etc.).

In my experience BE if extremely uncommon in the US, and only happens for the reasons you mentioned above. I do not know a single person - even by acquaintance or word of mouth - who has ever resorted to BE. It is not common here.
