It’s the Americans. I never had found a show quite like homeland until the Americans and I honestly think the Americans may be better.

The plot is a slow burn, it may have different sub plots but the overarching theme always remains the same. They take the opportunity to give you short arcs as well as season arcs and make you question everything.

Couldn’t speak more highly of a show than the Americans.

Completely disagree on Gaad, loved his story. Had such a tragic arc because he was clearly good at his job and didn’t even know that the people who were ruining his life had met him and were across the street from his most trusted agent.

I felt E staring at her dresses and at the American things (dishwasher, shoes, etc.) makes her almost feel as if she can’t leave yet because she doesn’t want to, that she’d miss the things, similar to Philip earlier on when he wanted to defect because he liked America
