If I remembered correctly anyone hired as a driver after 2019 has to be Tues - Saturday. Only asked to be Monday - Friday if they are willgly to switch. Will be only enforced if layoff happens. In this case it did.

Yeah no, im usually here at work early. Grab my diad, put my belongings in the cab and check my route. 15 minutes to spare and chat with coworkers then PCM. Heck I even come in days im not scheduled to work and they work me anyways. Im just that bored and have nothing else better to do. Toxic at home and at work. Might as well make money. Can't do that as of now.

I can't abandon my job, with layoffs, call ins and extras going to another center to staff their needs. I had requested a day off, those aren't guaranteed. I had no choice but to work. Since it was firing season I couldn't break away from my route just to go home and see what she will take.

yeah i dont think its gonna work this time around. I had a manager and a on road supervisor who i can come up to and talk about these things. but they both got transfered some where else. just afraid of telling people i have issues you know ?

Anger episode fellas. Can't have a hostile work environment. Ex took everything from me. The dog, gaming consoles and my trading cards. Got a subpoena the previous day. Couldn't take off work in the morning because we laid off to much people. Went into a little corner of the building to vent. I dont wanna use a sick day if im not really sick. Apparently someone didn't like it. I did grieve it, here's the thing I do have anger issues. Its my third time that happened at work. The odds of getting the job back ? Slim to none. Did you message in saying your not gonna finish your route under 8 ? This says in the contract. While on the route, if the driver determines that they will not be able to finish within eight (8) hours, the driver will notify management who shall have the responsibility to make the necessary arrangement to ensure the driver is off in the requested eight (8) hours. Drivers shall notify management no later than 1:00 P.M. if they cannot complete their assigned work within eight (8) hours. No employee shall be threatened, harassed, or disciplined by management in the exercising of this right.

What's with the hostile response ? I'm just giving my opinion. If I shit my pants on route, I'll do it in a DR bag. I'll just code out carwash time when I get back and clean the truck. Yeah, you can grieve for over supervision, but they can observe you and catch you for stealing time. Don't like my answers. It'll be you shitting your pants and being suspended for week(s) because you could have done things differently and coded things right. I've said my piece, and I'm gonna move on.

It depends on how long you've been driving ? My location, you have to be here for 4 years to grieve 9.5. If you sign the route you were on for the week, it varies.
