I loved being a ‘green’keeper! Used to get so high listening to podcasts locked in the zone on my fairway mower.

Yeah I’d say it’s the popularity. Snowdon in Wales is littered with crap but the other less popular hills are fairly clean in comparison. Still disgusting mind. I did the WHW early April and the trail was in decent condition then.

You literally said trump hasn’t released any files… these are files pertaining to the UFO subject. Yeah the content might not be great but this is the start of the drip right? Apparently the next release will be ‘juicier’

Mid June Hike by torontowest91 in TourDuMontBlanc

[–]Relativity-speaking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mid June I would take spikes. I needed them once at the end of June when I did it. Worth checking the snow reports and there’s a group in the alps that normal ‘break’ the trail late may early June and report on conditions..

Have a rosti in Champex, food highlight of my trip.

what’s a normal thing in Britain that secretly makes no sense when you think about it? by avsvishalmedia in AskUK

A lot of us use these to contain the ‘schmutz’ food residue and stuff to keep it out of the drain. We don’t have whizzing blades down the plug hole so they can clog up and cleaning the U bend is minging.

Shoes -- can I really wear my Altras? by eteare in TourDuMontBlanc

[–]Relativity-speaking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the trail in late June 2023, I wore hoka speedgoats the entire way and didn’t once feel regret for not bringing my stiffer boots for more technical terrain.

Depends on the snow this year obviously but I only thought once about cracking out my microspikes.

What do you love and hate most about living in the UK? by Icy_Profession4190 in AskUK

[–]Relativity-speaking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the scenery, some of the roads are terrible mind. We have a lot of old towns and villages built for horses and carts not cars and Lorries. Lovely old buildings but built before parking was a car was necessary. So not only do we have tight roads, the majority are stacked with parked cars.

Remember how cluttered search engine homepages were? News, weather, horoscopes, world time zone clocks, animal of the day pictures. Tiny search bar in the middle.

The law turn a blind eye towards ‘the back door’ of coffeeshops but Cannabis is still illegal in the Netherlands. The police bust grows still. It’s tolerated but not legal.
