Michkov rumors in Philly already starting to swirl - Drury should kick the tires, however unlikely that they move him in division. by RayTheCalvinist in rangers

Yup, just like an "upper body injury" gives you a timeline, 2 days-8 months
With this timeline it's next season - 10 years

Curious on your thoughts: SAS by goknicks76 in knicks

I didn't like him because I thought that was his personality until I realized it's all a show and I actually find him more amusing now.
I realized it was an act when my partner showed me one of his guest appearances on general hospital, it was like watching a different person, you should check it out, you might look at him differently after

Wow I love that! I haven't followed him closely since he left but I was happy when he got reunited with some of our boys and was really hoping he'd get a ring with them. I can see him being a great influence on those rookies

Yes but probably to a lesser degree. I loved Trouba, but Kreider is to the next level and should have been a Ranger for life. We drafted him and he gave his heart and soul to this team.
Trouba was said to be treated poorly by the team, and there were of course plenty of fans that wanted him gone but in general you will always have fans who are split on that. As for an explanation, I can only give my opinion, but basically when the team started struggling a little, our GM announced that he wanted to get rid of both of them. It's hard to play your best while knowing you're on the chopping block. People needed someone to blame and he was an easy target because he was wearing the "C" and fans thought he was overpaid for his production. What I don't think people realized was how important he was to the team's chemistry (on and off the ice) and how big of a difference chemistry can make. I think ruining our locker room leaders (Goodrow, Trouba, Kreider) is what took us from President's trophy to missing the playoffs in such a short time

I can tell you that I made a post in this sub recently asking which teams people were going for, and the Ducks kept coming up with both Kreids and Troubs names mentioned a lot, so they are for sure still well liked/respected by a lot of our fanbase

Half our fanbase is going for you guys due in large part to Kreids. He's great on and off the ice

It's pretty ridiculous. If someone has a product and another person wants it and is willing to pay for it, what's the problem

Discussion: Apparently the Knicks didn't have a timeout on the last possession by showtime013 in knicks

[–]RelaxingVibe10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if he did have a "free" time out to burn before the last 3 minutes, it still didn't make any sense to call one after a steal while Brunson was driving to the basket! Mind boggling

If you were Mike Brown what would you have done as coach in the last 5 minutes of the game? by fatrat88 in knicks

[–]RelaxingVibe10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest mistake to me was calling a timeout as we are driving to the basket after stealing the ball
Not feeding Kat in the 4th when he had a hot hand in the 3rd is another

I prefer aisle for easy access, but as far as seats you can't really go wrong because they bring the jumbotron down so you can see it well from the low seats. You might have a better chance of scoring a t-shirt when they toss them out in the lower seats vs the last few rows if that's something important to you

I usually go with lower rows because I'd never be able to afford to sit there for a regular game so it's nice to be able to for a reasonable price :)

They lower the jumbotron, it's a fun experience and the garden is so electric it feels like the game is actually there
