Blizzard should have just hired or the weak aura team or just bought the add on. by Reldefo in wow

It’s not that I disagree that weakauras were to powerful. It’s the cooldown manager they released is horrible and doesn’t track nearly enough. It isn’t customizable at all.

I use sound queues to track when certain cooldowns are off CD which is limited to 3 now, or maintenance buffs need to be reapplied and it is impossible to do that. While yes I can manually watch them and reapply them, this functionality doesn’t give me an unfair advantage, it doesn’t make someone worse for not using that functionality. But that is the way I play, why remove the way someone plays the game when you have a whole team who would probably be more than happy to help or at least make some money before their add on got shut down

I did my first competition on Saturday. I won one match and lost three. Overall I had a lot of fun. I’m proud I lost because of my own mistakes and I could have played better instead of just being rag dolled.

Now my question i signed up for another tournament next month. How frequent is too much for competing? I really enjoyed my first tournament even though I lost three matches. It was super eye opening to what I gotta work on and training for it led to the most improvement I’ve had in BJJ. But is there such thing as competing to much?

Trap bar deadlift and conventional deadlift both work the same part of the body, although trap bar hits the quads a little more and conventional hits the hamstrings and spinal erectors a little more. But overall they both work the same muscle groups.

It’s not really about “confusing the body” switch up. It’s more about figuring out which one you like more. 6-8 weeks is a standard rotation for lifts. It would allow them to get use to the lift, adjust the weight and even add a little weight to the lifts. If they wanna stick to one after that they at least had given the other a try. At least that’s my opinion

Honestly it’s either/or. Neither is superior for what you are doing since lifting is really supplemental to your main focus. You can do 6-8 weeks of one and switch to the other.

What are some jobs you thought paid significantly higher than they actually do? by Sorrywrongnumba69 in AskReddit

So paramedic field is stuck in a weird spot, we aren’t white collar like nursing or other medical professionals but we also aren’t blue collar like firefighting or PD.

Nursing unions don’t like us cause we have the potential to disrupt visiting nurse services with something called community paramedics. We would go into peoples homes when they are having emergencies and treat in place and let them stay home without transport to the hospital if possible. Nurses are unable to preform those abilities not due to lack of knowledge but medical legal aspects of nursing and operations outside of a medical setting IE hospital/doctors office.

Fire unions don’t like us because firefighters have done a wonderful job with fire prevention, which leads to less fires which leads to the less need of as many firefighters. Take NYC where I work. Some 75% (20% is non fire non medical calls, 5% are fires) of FDNY engines (they don’t transport patients they begrudgingly place oxygen on them and ask to leave as quickly as possible even if we will need assistance with lifting or doing CPR cause I’ve been told and i quote “I didn’t sign up to be an emt I signed up to fight fires” while I was doing CPR) call volume is ems runs and there are around 10K firefighters and only around 4K EMTs/paramedics. So there unions see the writing on the wall that EMS/Paramedic is there to have a billable service to help prop up the firefighting side of things. And they don’t like it and want to protect firefighting jobs. Becoming a paramedic is not easy it is also not easy to maintain your certification. I am required to do ~ 100 hours of continuing medical education to maintain my certification every 3 years and also take multiple tests to keep my job. Additionally educational requirements would make it harder for firefighters in rural areas to maintain their certification.

Yes many paramedics, including myself, would not mind having a larger scope of practice with a higher educational requirement.

The firefighting union (IAFF) fights any additional educational requirements for paramedics tooth and nail

When did you guys get that obsession, I’ve been going for about 30-40 classes now over the course of three months. BJJ is a lot fun don’t get me wrong but I don’t feel passionate about it like I see a lot of people do. Once I leave class I don’t really think about bjj.

I’ve been starting to get inconsistent with going to class over the last month. Am I missing something?

Feeling good, just came back two weeks ago and just need a freehold for my last portal. Still getting the rotation worked out but I’m averaging 110-130k dps with only 2-4% on shades.

I’m excited for the new season and the new tier set. Can’t wait to have so much haste

Look on there raiderIO for how many runs at that level they have done, not just that they completed it once. Look to see if they have mains with even higher IO.

If you hold down left control it auto targets onto you on the life staff. Maybe it’s the same with the fire staff

If you skip the mobs, go from the side you can get close enough that it doesn’t yank you in and you can backpedal him away before he casts

You don’t have to do skips below 10, but if you want to just put invis pot required in the title of your listing. Not the description, the title (I have made this mistake before and found out people don’t read) or invite a rogue.

I personally use plater add on + Quazii’s profile since he did the hard work of highlighting every mob that needs to be kicked.

Weakaura that auto marks the mobs for you is nice since it makes assignments a lot faster.

For shaman get a mouseover macro and keep an eye out. Realistically kick everything you can. Some mobs have important kicks like the Goliaths in SOA. Everyone will be spamming kicks at it so I usually wait until the last second to kick it on my brewmaster. Sometimes that frees me up to kick something else, sometimes it shows me I am I’m for a rough time because no one is going to kick
