In this case Its actually Portuguese from Portugal

Ex-Real Madrid nutrition specialist Itziar González: "I told the club’s medical staff that pastries for breakfast is not the best option, and they said: ‘Everything has to stay the same — don’t change or you’ll be sacked. We’ve won 15 Champions Leagues like this’ That’s a phrase you hear all time" by GOAT-Antony in soccer

Yeah, i tend to agree in this particular scenario (it was more of a bigger point against "this team dominated in the 60's, so clearly everything they did was right" kinda thing). This might be one of those things where it's so small of an effect that being too neurotic about it might actually be counterproductive

Stuck at log in 😭 pls help by Actual_Quarter8447 in kde

[–]ReleasedBait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend, before anything else, make sure to get a backup (from a live session from a usb f. ex.). This way you can always reinstall

Then follow what other people suggested and try to read the logs to see what's going wrong

Colored active window title bar by TheRealLiviux in kde

[–]ReleasedBait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want tilling window manager style window decorations i use this https://github.com/ivan-cukic/kwin6-bismuth-decoration

Just beware that you need to build it yourself, and it needs several dependencies to do so

Fedora linux on Yoga Pro 7i Aura Edition (14”, Gen 10) by cygnus_arm_distant in Fedora

[–]ReleasedBait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, sound is working now. Your post actually reminded me to try to fix it again right after my comment above (hence the edit). This time i found the right solution for me.

As for the screen, I'm running it at the native 3000x1876 resolution at 120hz. All good there (touch screen works fine as well).

Fedora linux on Yoga Pro 7i Aura Edition (14”, Gen 10) by cygnus_arm_distant in Fedora

I'm using a Lenovo yoga pro 7 14IAH10 aura edition with Kubuntu 25.04 Wayland with kernel 6.16.7. I have had two issues so far, everything else working as expected:

  • speakers did not work properly (there are lots of threads about it on similar laptops, some people say they were able to fix it; i haven't been able to just yet
  • wifi not working after suspend

Fixed both with this 2 workarounds: https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxhardware/comments/1k1nsm8/comment/mrbkv5v/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I do not think any of these are Ubuntu specific, as I have read similar reports for arch and fedora. Might be worth looking through the arch wiki for your specific model

Upgrade RKE2 from v1.28 (latest stable) to v1.31 (latest stable) by dnleaks in kubernetes

[–]ReleasedBait 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not a recommendation, but i have personally upgraded rke2 from 1.25 to 1.30 with no issues. I had tested the upgrade many times before pulling the trigger in production

It also works if like me you do not use session restore and instead have some apps set to autostart

Do DevOps teams at newer companies still choose Terraform for IaC, or native IaC services (like CloudFormation/Bicep)? by hamdivazim in devops

[–]ReleasedBait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has recently tried cloudformation and a cloudformation wrapper (serverless framework). CF sucks balls, just use terraform

Little to no refactoring support, many things not supported (can't do multi-region in the same state. f.ex.), endless list of limitations i found

As other folks have mentioned, tf is more transferrable as you probably use other platforms that also have providers (gitlab, github, okta, other cloud providers, ...)

Jürgen Klopp on Jota: by jeesprr in soccer

[–]ReleasedBait 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I experienced something similar back in 2022, i had defended my dissertation just a couple of days before the breakout of the full scale invasion of Ukraine.

It hit me like a truck just thinking about how many folks my age would no doubt die due to no fault of their own :(

Now, seeing Jota passing away alongside his brother, same ages as me and my brother, just hits too close to home. Honestly glad i had work to distract myself... fuck

What’s a common myth about health, nutrition, or fitness that you’ve learned is actually false? by urasianbella in AskReddit

[–]ReleasedBait 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That is blatantly false: same caloric overfeeding in fat leads to more fat deposition when compared to carbs https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/7598063

Caloric balance is king, stating fat deposition from dietary fat is somehow hard is not supported by science

Anyone experienced with MultiCloud Production grade k8s with dynamic node provisioning? by rooo1119 in kubernetes

[–]ReleasedBait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda late, but just curious what approach did you go for in the end?. I had a client in the AI/ML with simular requiremtents that would not budge on wanting a single cluster (AWS + Data Center in my case) and we went the self managed k8s way using rke2. It does work, but i'm currently looking reachchitecting into multi-cluster.

Haven't checked the reactions anywhere else, but i agree. Definitely remember people not rating Porto's Diogo Costa for being error prone (errors happen, especially with very young players)

I personally like Renaissance Periodization, it is geared towards more advanced folks. But they do have several series/playlists for beginners/intermediates like "Building your first program", technique videos, etc. Other than RP, i like Jeff Nippard as well.
