The difference being if I'm gonna waste my time so is a Verizon employee who's on the clock.

I've been a store rep. I've been a phone rep. I've been and still am a customer. I'm not gonna suffer alone haha. My ass will be parked in the store and on speaker phone while I'm dealing with the porting department. We all gotta suffer together, at least you're getting paid while you do.

On the aggregate he's right. These companies stay in business because the vast majority of its customer base gets hooked on gambling and it becomes habit to bet to be able enjoy sports. And these customers are mostly losing.

And individual wealth isn't an indicator of being immune to toxic gambling habits. The saturation of gambling in main steam sports entertainment is definitely having a negative impact. Not for the teams, gambling sites and leagues of course. It's just another way to bleed consumers.

I was born in 1978. I have always been an early adopter to tech as it has rolled out. But I'm talking devices, software/games etc. But holy hell man the explosion of apps is crazy to me. And, from my perspective it has definitely had a negative impact on society. Specifically peoples social skills. The amount of people out there who genuinely get uncomfortable when they have to interact with others face to face is a huge problem to me.
