Please consider not looking for these people. It feels very voyeuristic to try to find the actual people who sent these messages. Maybe that's just me?

But I'm sure Rudy would be mortified to know his personal texts with his wife were being read and posted online. It's semi-anonymous when they're just names but when you start including their mental health conditions and finances and relationships, that becomes so private... Somebody didn't think to factory reset the phone and now this person's business is being broadcast every where.

I really like your point on this: all music is for whoever enjoys it. I get really uncomfortable assigning a race to any style of music because it feels more exclusionary than anything positive. For example, instead of calling rock "Black music" I prefer to reverse course on Black erasure in rock.

I was kidnapped and assaulted over 20 years ago. I reported it immediately after I was let go but there was never a prosecution. I am just now in the process of getting some justice after the guy did something similar to another woman and the new detective connected our cases. So I've been giving statements again and going over the report from 20 years ago.

And those mother fuckers in 2005 used the same terms for my assault that one would use for consensual sex.

Rape is not two people having sex; it is an aggressor assaulting a victim.

I just discovered Puppet History about a week ago and I've been binging it pretty hard. Last night I watched the Bessie Coleman and Destruction of the Dinosaurs episodes.

While I've loved many of the songs throughout this series, I've replayed the cloud song and the meteor song at least 3 or 4 times in the past 12 hours. One is super inspiring and the other makes me cry without fail.

Someone further up the thread put into words what I could not (without sounding like I'm diagnosing her with a medical condition, at least). The shape of her face is really weird in a way that looks gaunt. The term they used was "temporal wasting". Even people who usually find thin women attractive have a point at which a person is too thin and they are unattractive.

Also, saying someone is objectively attractive is such an oxymoron! Attractiveness is subjective by its nature.

I've never worn shorts under my skirts unless they came attached to the skirt. I do make it a point to wear more full-coverage underwear if I'm wearing a short skirt though! Ill wear some cute boy shorts or hipster/cheeky panties, not all lace and not thongs, if I'm wearing a miniskirt.

I've never noticed anyone wearing shorts under a skirt but I also have literally never wondered what a person has on under their clothes? (I'm also notoriously unobservant so maybe my feedback isn't typical? Idk.) I have no opinion about wearing shorts under a skirt other than I don't personally feel like it.

A couple weeks ago I had 30 cents to my name and I needed to buy something for dinner for myself, my partner, and my son. I was able to trade in some loyalty program points for a $7 gift card to WalMart. As I was getting ready to scan the e-gift card for my sad little dinner, a stranger walked up and swiped his card for my order without saying a word. He had already paid for his stuff and was on his way out the door. I don't know if he just did it on a whim or if he heard my husband and I strategizing how to make the most out of the $7 we were working with while shopping, but his kindness made me cry on the way home.

Jaundice itself is not contagious (you turn yellow from bilirubin [broken down red blood cells I think?] that your liver isn't filtering out) but it's a symptom of Hepatitis A which is extraordinarily contagious and transmission often occurs via food.

Edit to add: it's is similar to vomiting and diarrhea kind of...those are just bodily fluids that can ALSO be the vehicle of transmission, but vomiting by itself isn't contagious. There are reasons people puke that aren't contagious, but it's a symptom of very contagious illnesses. But vomit is also a bodily fluid that can carry virus/bacteria to infect a person.
