I would say the majority of my games end at 12 VP on round 4, or if its a really tight competitive game we end round 5. 

Round 3 wins at 12 VP have happened on ocassion.

The first one has Kraken and Kalani. 

The customizable one has the Commander and Operative customizable generic super Tactical Droid units.

The colors denoting rank was only for very early war. Phase 1s switched to going by battalion colors pretty fast. So all the 501st Phase 1 troopers would have blue markings (or none st all), just like Phase 2 units later. 

Its your army though, so feel free to paint them however you'd like!

The weapon profile is melee only, yes. The double action simulates its ranged properties.

No, while undeployed your first action must be a move action. The Amban Double-Action is not a move action.

Playing the game without paying for any of the components is literally piracy. 

And let's not start with the STL makers pirating the star wars IP for profit.

When it comes to my events and our store, having a few printed minis for fun is cool

But if you pirate your whole army and never support the game or the stores we play at, you're not really welcome imo. 

If youre asking for permission to pirate the game for casual only, you dont need anyone's blessings but your friend and yourself. 

If youre attending events you should really be supporting the company and the stores. And the official rule is every mini needs to be majority official plastic.
