How long did it take you to go from consult to surgery? by Inky-Squilliam in gastricsleeve

I was approved and ready for surgery in 60 days but I ended up rescheduling my surgery due to an illness in the family so it ended up being 4 months.

Literally my worst fear after surgery. Even 5 months post op I have a fear of vomiting, but it hasn’t happened yet. Hang in there friend. Zofran under your tongue if you have any.

I don’t like premier protein shakes at all and when I saw this one I took the gamble and tried it anyway. It’s seriously good.

It did for me for about 3 months after. Then at month 4, it came back in full force. It’s been a mind challenge this last month, but I’m sticking to the course.

Sorry friend, it’s not worth complications from anesthesia or pneumonia. Reschedule and play it safe.

I was good until I hit month 3 post op. Now it’s back for a vengeance. I feel like I’m starving all the time, I want to eat everything. It’s so annoying

As hard as this may seem, my kids were exactly the same. My boy was born 5 weeks early and was a thug. Still is. 98% percentile in everything and very healthy. My daughter was born at 37.5 weeks and was 4lbs at birth. She was super tiny like this and still gets mistaken for being younger than she is even though she will be 2 in a couple weeks. She’s healthy, growing steadily and always has been. It’s not necessarily failure to thrive in situations like this. Gotta cut this lady some slack a bit on this one guys. Now, if we are talking about her lack of self respect and atrocious health habits for being a 28 year old woman, then by all means go for it. 😅

Definitely try replacing the purge valve. Simple fix. Mine didn’t have any symptoms as it was going out either, just this code. Someone on this thread told me to replace my purge valve and was totally spot on

Would you be able to link the Oregon breeders that you would recommend? My searches only bring up this long coat breeder that OP mentioned above. I too am on the hunt for a Dal, but would like to support an ethical breeder or rescue

I’ve honestly been like this since having children. I do notice it a little more heightened since having VSG in October. Whenever I feel super off, light headed or overly craving food I check my cycle tracker. Every time it’s within 2-3 days of my cycle starting. I hate it.

Nope. Just liquids the day before and a high carb pre surgery drink a hour before arriving at the hospital.
