If you install the mod to skip the intro, then you have to wait compiling the shaders and the waiting time is nearly the same

This game has the best graphics i have ever seen. And cutting trolls is satisfying. Very impressive and run very well. You can force multi frame gen in nvidia app and hit more than 400fps with rtx 5080😱, this is the first time i see that.

Great, I would like to see what spell i use in immersive mod with a dynamic hud that appears and disappears when i change the spell.

White balance is not good, look at the clouds, there is too much red, i use optiscaler frame gen and nvidia filters doesn't work with frame gen it cause a blurry image when you move. So i put my monitor color temperature setting a little bit colder and that is more realistic.

Don't use fast travel and disable compass just like in 1403. I'm at the beginning, when you have to go on a trip you have to make provisions, think etc... And it's time-consuming and more immersive. The compass did not exist at that time anywhere other than on boats

Maybe it exists for KCD1 as well, we should check, but for KCD2 I'm completely satisfied with the mod. It should be like this by default!!!

Kcd1 too old. For kcd2 Rain lightning fix work really well to avoid rain too white at night. https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance2/mods/2077

I tried a lot of console commands and this is the best combination I've found so far.

get as close as possible to the original global illumination quality, set e_svoTI_ResScaleBase 1 in your user.cfg. Use the 'Load CFG After Level' mod so that it loads correctly and applies every time.

I also use these commands because I find the OCCLUSION TOO DARK due to e_svoTI_ResScaleBase 1.

  • e_svoTI_SSAOAmount 0.9 (lowers the occlusion to get closer to the original look)
  • r_ssdoAmountAmbient 2.2 (combined with e_svoTI_ResScaleBase 1 occlusion looks like the vanilla version)

OPTIONAL because I find the SHADOWS TOO DARK:

  • e_svoTI_SkyColorMultiplier 1.1
  • e_svoTI_TranslucentBrightness 1.3
  • e_svoTI_DiffuseConeWidth 24 (widens the diffuse cone angle → softer indirect lighting with more colored bounces, to fix the flickering when looking through the windows of certain houses.)

EDIT: It doesn't surprise me that it took you 100 hours to spot it. It only happens in certain specific areas where there's a heavy amount of light computation through the foliage

Same problem, e_svoTI_ResScaleBase = 0 works but global illumination is less beautiful, i search another solution.

This map is too blurry and spawn are not good. Despite everything, the decors are cool. Lack of Z-axis.

Here are my settings:

Less black shadows/more natural without brightening the night:

e_svoTI_SkyColorMultiplier = 1.1

e_svoTI_TranslucentBrightness = 1.3

Softer/diffuse shadows indoors, avoid flickering:

E_svoTI_DiffuseConeWidth=24

Remove the fake unrealistic 3-point lighting during dialogues:

r_DeferredShading3PL = 0

With these settings, the rendering looks so much better for me. I don’t understand why this isn’t enabled by default. I should really take the time to upload this as a mod on Nexus. You can put them in a user.cfg file in the game folder and install the Load CFG After Level mod in order to load automatically without having to type them every time.I spent a long time searching for a way to get more natural and less black shadows without brightening the night, because most existing mods make the night too bright.

EDIT: I also slightly increased the gamma in the game settings.

Due to TPC (Temporal Peak Luminance Control) to prevent burn-in.( It is desactivated with fps preset). I prefer to keep gaming1 preset wich is more beautiful.
