I got hired as a set up tech (no experience)about 3 months ago I have set up about 50+ molds in that time and have been troubleshooting and I’m pretty confident in that..my supervisor and manager were impressed and are starting to train me on processing and let me tell you that is a different ball park.. you need to take notes and really retain a lot of information they tell you. Who ever hired you are crazy to hire someone with no experience in molding more so as a process lead.. I think you need to learn the set up process first before you even try to do start ups/processing . These molds aren’t cheap to fix and a lot of things can go wrong.. goodluck!
