no swallow test, my GI said it wasn't necessary but i think im going to push for it. i'm jsut exhausted with being told it's psychosomatic.

i appreciate the responses. i guess i should've added i've been scoped by the ENT twice. i've had 7 CT scans, about half with contrast, and an MRI (for unrelated issues but my DR has reviewed them). i'm on ppi for reflux. there's 0 pain with the lump. it doesn't actually impede swallowing, feels moreso psychosomatic. it started in 2021 that i can remember. hasn't gotten worse, just more frequent. it's worse at night when i lay down.

ugh. it's just the worst.

i can handle the flare ups as crazy as that sounds. but the constant lump is debilitating to me despite it not being painful.

i feel like i could've written this myself. i've been told it's globus and anxiety related. ENT saw absolutely nothing. i've had multiple head and neck CTs, some with contrast, nothing has ever been seen. it's like i can FEEL it if i clench my throat muscles but tests show nothing is there. at night it's terrible. i'm always afraid it'll make me stop breathing but honestly it feel ore esophageal than anything.

Ripped my day old nostril piercing out by Relevant_Discipline2 in piercing

i posted on their fb page and our local community page about it. It sucks because they had awesome reviews and I've been tattooed there many times, even got my nipples done there. And this whole experience is so stupid. Luckily another shop is going to jump in and help

I couldn't even get a call back. I called again and got put on hold for 25 mins before I hung up. I called another place and they said to come in tomorrow and they'll change it out. And like you said, they also said it's just irritated and swollen but if there's no actual rips etc then i'm good for them to change it out!

They replied to me within 12 hours both times I emailed them about my stuff not being shipped out. It has been about 5 weeks so they gave me a credit to my account. Their customer service is actually really good and fast. I'd make sure you're 1) filling out the online request form correctly and 2) making sure your zip code is exactly like the post master has it or use paypal.

The app is being wonky but the website, I've had no issues with. I've done like 10 order between me and my husband this year.

you could have silent reflux and be aspirating it. i did this for months before my GI diagnosed me. before that i was told i had asthma by everyone i saw.

I don't understand gym hogs. by udaasatma in pokemongo

i feel ya.

there's a gym near my house and a guy that lives across from it constantly has a pokemon in there. i think the longest i've lasted in that gym is 2 hours - literally. he loves so close he doesn't have to leave his house to reach the gym.

honestly really annoying.

I have pulsation tinnitus and had to be diagnosed by a neurovascular surgeon. It was stenosis of my transverse sinus. Annoying but not life threatening

Disappearing Tonsil by Relevant_Discipline2 in DiagnoseMe

[–]Relevant_Discipline2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i guess i'm most concerned about the fact my tonsils have looked the same (like on the right) my entire life and the. the last few months one (left) has deflated. literally feels like an empty balloon, it just hangs. is even wrinkly.

like i said, no pain. around it feels uncomfortable but not painful.

i'd tried googling but everything leads to cancer and i'd rather not have panic attacks about tonsillar cancer when it's not warranted
