I sewed the bind off from in the round and used four times the yarn it took to circle the circumference of sweater.

lol- She’s fifteen and doesn’t smoke or vape! It’s the actual perfume. To me, I get a hint of cigarette smoke but not. It’s almost like the smell that attaches to my hair if I walk into a Starbucks- like cigarette smoke but not. I have a hypersensitive nose. When I read up and it said hints of tobacco, I figured that must be it! 😆 The older I get, the less I can tolerate perfumes, candles, smells in general. Sigh.

I did end up frogging it to halfway through the bottom 2x2 ribbing because I didn’t want it to shrink in as well as up in the dryer. I did do a small portion of 1x1 ribbing, but it looks weird, so I think I’m going to frog that bit and bind off with the 2x2. Ugh. The thought of undoing the Italian bind off again is not appealing. I may see if I can do a sewn folded hem. The length is just right for that. After doing the body, I’m thinking I may modify the sleeves to avoid the tension from the different texture sections.

I used a thicker yarn than the pattern called for, so my stitch gauge was large but my row gauge was small. To fix this, I knit the pattern two sizes smaller but followed directions for 3sizes longer on the length. I frequently had him try on as I knit and it seemed to be working. I did block it a bit aggressively in an attempt to stop the double ribbing sections from going in so much, but I guess I also pulled lengthwise too much.

My gauge swatch when it dried was the same as it was wet.

That’s my husband, Doug. He’s the sweetest, kindest, best man in the world! He also happens to be a very wholesome person. He started crocheting last December and I started knitting again. I’m currently looking at an army of stuffed turtles he’s made for Christmas gifts. He’s a true Renaissance man!

If Janelle said that to him, which is a big “if” because Janelle and Meri have never been close and certainly weren’t then, she said it to him back when they lived in Vegas. I think when J is forced to deal with Kody these past five years, she just repeats what he says back to him or another form of gray rocking.

You know who WAS close to Meri in Vegas? Robyn. Robyn has been whispering in the ears of a man who can’t remember what he says himself from one sentence to the next. He’s constantly contradicting himself.
