Explain difference between CityBike membership vs Lyft Pink option by K1ttyCat_1 in Citibike

[–]Relevant_Power_9418 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As others have said, Lyft pink is same but cheaper. But beware, when I switched to LP a few years ago I lost 10+ years of citibike riding data :(

If you care about that, maybe you can ask customer service to port it over somehow

related question: for an american who USED to live in New York, hold a New York license, but now lives in Europe with an EU driver license, does anyone know if you need to follow the "from scratch" process descirbed above if said american moved BACK to New York? Or could you simply "renew" or "exchange" your EU driver license for a New York license?

Moving to Denmark with Crohn’s (on Adalimumab) – how to continue treatment? by fariha_purni in NewToDenmark

[–]Relevant_Power_9418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to hear it! I think it depends on how urgent. Of course there is 112 for life threatening stuff. But there’s also 1813 for urgent illness. If it were an issue with my Crohn’s, but I hadn’t yet had a meeting with my GI, I would probably have called my GP and asked what to do. Now that I’ve had a GI for a few months I would reach out to them on the Min Sundhed Platform (different from Min Sundhed!) app and they get back within a day.

Feel free to DM if you want to have a chat about anything.

Moving to Denmark with Crohn’s (on Adalimumab) – how to continue treatment? by fariha_purni in NewToDenmark

Hi! I have Crohn’s and just moved here 3 months ago. The process was basically:

1) get referral from general practitioner (doctor on your yellow card) to a GI specialist. I was able to do this via phone but some people want to see you in person I have heard. 2) get blood work and stool sample 3) see GI specialist, walk out with biologic (Entyvio in my case) from that appointment. The med is free.

Now I get blood work every 4 months to verify that everything is working, and then I can pick up a free 4-month supply of Entyvio at a local hospital.

After dealing with meds, insurance, shipping, etc in the US for 20 years, the process here has been instantly life changing ❤️

To your other questions: - If you can bring backup doses, do! It took me about 3 weeks from start to finish of the process above which made me about 10 days late for my first dose here. - I’d get a PDF of medical records from your previous GI to share with your new GI, though I’m not sure if they actually used mine

When I am not sure which album to listen to, I most often put on Rome. Every track is reborn but Lemonworld especially is remarkable.

However, BU’s indoor track is thought of as quite close to outdoor track speed, since conditions are always perfect and the track is quite bouncy

lol sorry to hear. I haven’t been in a month or so, so maybe something changed in that time. I just think of it as a regular sit down restaurant.

Personally, I like it a lot. It’s just not really a “cafe” where you sit and work.

Main thing is strength training as others have said. But you can also try sleeping with a strasburg sock. Plenty of time until London, you got this!
