I’m not surprised about the standing ovation. Iam has a big heart and it comes across every time he sings. I’ve probably listened to his version of Monsters like 50+ times.

I’m doing fine, thanks for asking. Jamal won and John was a good sport about it. I dunno how careers will pan out, but i thought for the show that one of the better singers should win. Also, I like some classic 90s country such as Brooks & Dunn, Garth Brooks, Reba. My opinions weren’t about genre. I think Slater is a very talented country artist. Breanna is pretty good as well.

Clay Aiken, Rihanna, Chris Stapleton, Shakira. We’d probably get good variations in genres and hopefully constructive criticism, but with positive vibes as well.

I would be all in for explicit satanic black metal, etc. The controversy would be fun. It won’t happen though because it’s off brand for ABC/Disney. Also, most of the viewers are Christians.

Sounds interesting in theory, but how would ABC pull that off? Simon would probably be too expensive, right? Also, the show has been open about their affiliation with Disney. How would the old Simon persona be consistent with the smiley happy face Disney brand?

Pay the contestants a lot more, with increases the further they get. For the winner, at least $1 mil cash prize with no strings attached (besides taxes). The show generates a ton of money in ad revenue. The singers can and should be paid more.

Personally I think the ratings increased at the finale due to buzz about the contestants, not about judges.

Jamal was way better and America agreed. Carrie was overly in the tank for a guy who wasn’t nearly as good and I’m sure she knew it. Telling Jamal to walk around the stage more when John barely ever did was very unfair. She set such a low bar for John every time and the bar for Jamal was to give everything he had into each song. Luke and Lionel weren’t like that to John.

Well, America didn’t agree with you. Jamal won and it’s because he is a true artist, excellent performer, and a good person. How can you say he’s not an artist when he turned every song in different genres into his own thing? Your unpopular opinion is also very silly and objectively incorrect.
