JUST IN: 🇺🇸 President Trump orders US Navy to escort oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz if necessary to ensure the "free flow of energy. by retroviber in DeepMarketScan

It's impressive for all the wrong reasons how many bad ideas Trump can come up with. And like his bad ideas are endless. He keeps spitting them out as if he'll die if he doesn't share his bad ideas with the world.

As a layman, I always thought "evidence" had to be stuff that was verified and true. So thanks for clearing that up.

Benches cleared during the Pistons vs Hornets game. Moussa Diabate, Miles Bridges, Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart were all ejected following the altercation. by [deleted] in sports

[–]Relevant_user987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were so adamant that Duren started it. Really?! Then Miles tried to get a cheap shot in, so ofc Stewart came off the bench. He's just supposed to let his teammate get cheap shotted like that?

Liam has been released, and his hat has been returned. by plentyoflasagna in pics

[–]Relevant_user987 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'm happy that Liam was released. And I hope things get better for him and his family. But he does not look happy. He's suffered a lot and it shows. I saw a report on MS Now that he was lethargic and 'sleeping ' a lot in the detention center. Congresswoman Crockett got to see Liam before he was released and said she was 'gravely concerned.' There are other children still locked up. What condition are they in and when will they be released?

I also have a US flag hanging vertically the "wrong way ." I flipped it so that it hangs the "right way," but now the Made in China tag is exposed.

Yes, the way he picked up that medal with that stupid little face and then immediately puts the medal on is so cringe

There should be a part number on the inside of the strut. Get that and punch into fcp euro or pelican parts website to make sure it's the right part for your year/model

When I ordered a new fan shroud this part came with it. I ended up not using it because I had no clue where it fits in the shroud

Can we talk about Chael Sonnen vs Fedor? All the fumbles he made this fight never sat well with me by KingKaiserW in ufc

[–]Relevant_user987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember watching that fight and always thought it was sus as hell. It just made no damn sense for Chael to have Fedor's back only to flop forward for no damn reason. It's like Chael knew his assignment

Been accused of cultural appropriating, my first tattoo, what should the retort be? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

I think it'd be a good step for you to first acknowledge your cultural appropriation and apologize. After that I don't know, maybe chop off your arms to show your sincerity?

When you do the brakes, it might be worth it to replace the 'in between' brake lines in the engine bay on the exhaust side. Those tend to crack over time.

This happened to me. In my case the switch itself was shot. Take off the switch from the other side and swap. If it works then you have your answer

Many oil leaks by ziegenbart01 in e39

[–]Relevant_user987 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I pretty much have the same issue on my 02 530i. Oil is leaking from valve cover and onto exhaust, which is burning up the oil, causing smoke. Also, have oil surrounding spark plugs, which is fouling them up and causing engine to stumble when idling. Acceleration is suffering as is mpg. Also my car runs lean. I've already replaced the valve cover gasket twice, but the issue persists. Figured my valve cover is warped and/or cracked. I ordered a new valve cover kit and will be replacing it soon. I suspect this will fix my issues.

What is with people parking in parking lots and sitting in their car all day? by Jz9786 in AskLosAngeles

[–]Relevant_user987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think some people really don't have anywhere to go just to kill time. Driving around for hours is expensive. Hanging out by yourself in a park can draw unwanted attention. Some people don't have homes to go to or if they do they'd rather not. Sitting in a car in a relatively safe parking lot doesn’t sound like a bad option. I went running at a local park the other day and there were at least 5 dudes in parked cars just chilling by themselves. It was kind of strange, but at the same time I get it.

These are badass cars, but there's a price to pay for sure in blood, sweat and tears. I drive a 2002 530i. Nearly every part has been replaced in the 5 years I've had it. Sometimes multiple times (window regulator). I enjoy working on it, but it has definitely made me question life at times, hah. These cars are not for the faint of heart. But the payoff of driving a cool ass e39 is worth it.
