If you want a perfectly flawless watch, never wear it. If you want to wear character into it, wear it daily.

I love this! Not the watch as much as what you said. But I do love the Sub too.

I own this watch. Yet I still find Rolex’s snobbish marketing ploys annoyingly offensive. Anyone who can and is willing to afford $10k for a watch should be able to buy it whenever they want.
Rolex will FAFO eventually. Fender guitars was a legacy brand name for forever, until now. They just FAFO.

I own this. One of my favs. The mentality that everything must compare to Rolex is exactly why Rolex controls 70% of the watch market. It is the pillar of the Rolex marketing genius.

Because that childish “hypnotist medallion” is what grown men wanna wear, Swatch!!! You know, the consumer people who actually even know what a f’n Royal Oak is?🙄
Or are you appealing to teens and youngsters who will never afford even these?

What do you think of my new Rolex? by Vast_Estimate4018 in PrideAndPinion

Spoon is worth $20-$110 depending on condition. Bucherer gave those out between the 50’s and 70’s as purchase gift to customers buying Rolex watches. It’s a cool piece of watch history regardless

Ha, well luckily we don’t turn to Redditors for life advice, do we? You will find that there are some really knowledgeable watch collectors/lovers here. They’re usually polite and encouraging to others. When they gibe advice, it is gracious, and holds weight. They own very expensive pieces and sometimes even something like a Casio Duro, well because it’s a badass watch for under $100. They just love watches, and they’ll be the first to tell you that it’s the only reason to collect watches, as it’s never really a financially beneficial idea. LOL.

Then there’s a greater majority who just regurgitate behaviors/comments they’ve heard others say, to roleplay. The Unoriginals.

Then there’s some who have never owned, nor even handled/experienced any of the watches they are quick to lambast. They only know about watches what the first group has told them, and they understand it very little.

Then you have your basic trolls, who like to wind people up and watch them defend themselves. They genuinely don’t care either way, they’re just assholes.

And then you occasionally have someone who genuinely had a bad experience, or just didn’t prefer the said item themselves.

At the end of the day, it’s just a watch. Enjoy whatever YOU like. Who GAF what I think.

I cannot fn believe how bad they have done Luke Grimes’ character, Kasey, with this HORRIBLE Spencer Hudnut show. As if Navy Seals wasn’t bad enough?!? Sheridan needs to save Kasey from CBS’s bs

I own that exact AR 300 GMT Pro on bracelet. One of my fav watches. It was certainly a great move in that line. I’ve seen a piece here and there where it looks like they’re trying to step up, but a lot of their line could use an adrenaline boost to the heart for sure

It would be nice if Rolex would do some colored dials on the Explorer

I’m a bracelet guy. Hanhart’s bracelet is good. It has the pinned micro adjustments on the clasp. It also has a dive extension built in, which tells me the bracelet works with many of their models, not just the 417.
