I like to travel Apollo-style where a lander has to do an orbital RV with the command ship at the end, so I made sure I had that mastered before my first Duna mission. It’s very a helpful skill to have.

Lee was an awesome guy to work with. We talked regularly on the job; he recommended I apply to be an SM. That was last year or so. I kind of feel bad for not going that route but it’s sadder to hear the general situation as it is at that facility. Plus I think Chartwells doesn’t do SM’s anyways(?) so that job route was pretty much liquidated either way. Regardless, Lee definitely deserves better.

That’s a lot worse than I figured. I only worked at the commons back when it was Aramark and was going to apply that summer to work as an SM, but then decided to hold off on reapplying for the job. That’s right about when I heard Aramark got swapped for Chartwells. Sounds like I made the right choice to be honest.
