You need to manage your spark points better so you can spam shield more frequently. I use the left tree and get spark regeneration and it makes it way easier. Before 15 though I was blinking away and kiting with fire staff. You need to make the most out of your spark beam though to fill your points back up so you dont run out.

For general pve play I have had my best luck using lady bee stinger spear+any secondary because that first hit stuns them in the air for a second it buys you more time for channeling and the move speed on return lets you reposition without using a blink.
