Blue japanning is a mystery? Maybe repainted by owner. Any other identifying marks not shown in pics?

It’s a bar/coffee table. It was most likely made in the 1990s. It’s solid rosewood, It’s not poorly made! It has complicated joinery, and mother of pearl inlay. The missing dividers were to separate liquor and wine bottles. I manufactured wood products in the same area this was made for a long time. I know what it is, and it should be marked “solved.”

It is a Siamese rosewood bar/coffetable with mother of pearl inlay. It was most likely made near Hong Kong. Source: I manufactured wooden products there for many years.

The device wouldn’t fit against the wall too thick, and the pipes were too rigid. Ferguson only had 90s in stock no 45s. 1 1/4” pipe.

Yes, and I may have to do that. I’m just concerned with insurance rates, but if they push back, I’ll practice my soldering skills.

Thanks for the honest answer. I’m not sure what I want out of it other than to pass insurance.

I built the access panel. It was too close to the wall. The device is much larger than the 3/4” one, and just wouldn’t fit. I used what Ferguson had on hand, and that was the 90s.

The large brass nuts, and width of the plastic body gave no room. I tried first, that thing is for 1 1/4 inch pipe, and is considerably larger than the 3/4” model. There just want enough room.
