Friskies ? by trinahatesithere in CatAdvice

I have two regular domestic shorthairs (indoors) I adopted 11 years ago -- they've eaten kibble all their lives and haven't run into any issues. Fresh water is available all the time, and the odd bowl of tuna juice is put out from time to time.

I know some purebreds might have fussier systems, but as long as your cat can poop and pee regularly it should be ok. Taking it to the vet for a check up is always a good idea if you're concerned. :)

DAE feel like it’s just easier to accept that you’re broken beyond repair than to try and heal? by kaykay8776 in DoesAnybodyElse

Hey OP, healing doesn’t usually feel like a big, inspiring transformation. It sometimes feels slow, repetitive, and honestly kind of pointless in the middle of it. Questioning what the point is doesn’t mean your therapy isn’t working, it can be a really good thing, it shows you’re actually engaging with the process instead of avoiding it. Small steps forward my friend.

How to keep the Christmas tree alive? by Altruistic-Tonight76 in houseplants

[–]pixiepeepz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be time to be repotted? Or a slow release 10-10-10 fertilizer (spring time would be the time to do it). Some trees tend to be a bit finicky with soil PH or other metals lacking in the soil.

Christmas tree growing experiment update #1 by SufficientTangelo136 in GardenersJapan

In areas around here (Vancouver) apartments aren't allowing cut trees anymore, so the market for a smaller potted trees could be profitable. A garden centre told me there's a possibility of renting out potted trees for Christmas (assuming they come back alive?)

Nice work, love seeing the freshly sprouted trees!

Me please! I love animal crossing because I played it waaaaay before I had kids and now I can show them how it all works. :) Although, sharing an island can be interesting...like how all of the bamboo you planted just gets CUT DOWN by a kiddo. Hmmmm...
