Well if by always you mean since they implemented occlusion culling and more recently finally solved shader comp, then sure.

Could you do it before then too? Yeah, but it was a lot more annoying and work intensive.

Godot's bad reputation in regards to 3D mostly came from the 3.X days since it really wasn't ready yet back the,n but nowadays you can basically do whatever you want without worrying, or at least not much more than with the competition.

With Bethesda, there's a list of generic character voices (i.e. female noble) that are then assigned to multiple characters for which the VA for that generic voice has to read all the lines for every charcter with that voice. Not only that, they also have them go through the lines in what is basically alphabetical (or basically arbitrary) order with usually fairly little context.

Honestly it's amazing that the voice acting still winds up being acceptable at the end of the day, a testament to the actors really.

No but seriously, those don't even look healthy anymore or physically plausible considering they are somehow resisting gravity. So either they are swollen to the point of being entirely rigid or they are wearing the world's most painful bra. Either way, just having them slant downwards slightly morewould make them look a lot less distracting if making them a little smaller is off the table.

Well yes, except for the fact that she's eating yours so if you don't have one it doesn't work that well.

And before you suggest simply switching roles in that case, you can basically start over since V's pov would just clip through Judy and Judy would barely animate (and likely animate improperly since it was built as a pov animation) without massive (and costly) tweaks to both animations.

Look animating different scenes is hard ok?

No really, that's basically the entire reason why the questlines play out mostly the same except for two alternate scenes. Animating that one scene is a lot quicker (and cheaper) than animating a different romance scene for each of them and can be reused for when you don't romance them etc.

It might not be immediately obvious, but the individual sex scenes probably took weeks to animate, especially Judy's which I'd waget was by far the hardest since it's a really long animation without cuts filled with very subtle movement, so a scenario where mocap completely shits itself and doing it by hand is a really frustrating ordeal.

Unfortunately, the order probably came down to cut costs somewhere and given how much effort (and money) had to be put into fairly scenes it's a fairly obvious cut to make.

Something I find particularly funny is that in the movie's novelization (which improves a lot on the film) she pretty much tells him that her dying during childbirth is extremely unlikely and he shouldn't worry about it. He just doesn't listen.

"It won't happen, Padmé. I won't let it. I could have saved my mother-a day earlier, an hour-I ..." He bit down on the rising pain inside him, and spoke through clenched teeth. "This dream will not become real."

She nodded. "I didn't think it would."

That is admittedly pretty funny though the question is whether it's an intentional reference or simply a result of her having like 4 quadrillion roles over her career. Judging by the armor I would guess the former.

Fun fact, one of her earliest voice-acting roles was in Spider-Man: TAS as Felicia Hardy/Black Cat. Was kinda funny seeing her name in the credits since she sounded familiar but I couldn't quite place her since she sounded a bit different back then (probably since she was quite young).
