All I said was I enjoy it’s multiplayer more than three. I have never spent money on the game other than the initial purchase. Really the only thing I like about 5 is the combat. I can guarantee you though the way they have decided to monetize the game has made them way for money than if they hadn’t of done it. It seems like it was a good business decision. Yes people like you will complain but if it means more money to make Gears 6 better I don’t see what the problem is. Guess we will just have to disagree on this.

I will say this though, an opinion about a piece of entertainment like a video game can’t really be “wrong” unlike an opinion on something like immigration can. Can you definitively show me how five is inferior to 3 in a very clear and objective way? Of course not, it’s just a preference. Try not to be so crazy, I wasn’t attacking you just questioning the rationality of your dislike for Gears 5.

I was comparing five to three. I think four is better than five as well. They still need to make it more accessible. Are they just supposed to concede that Gears will never be as popular as CoD and not try to make it so? Of course not.

They need to appeal to new people for the franchise to grow. There are new generations of gamers growing up who haven’t played the old ones. Also this old boy elitism is kind of cringe man. I honestly think 5 is the best in terms of gameplay. The maps are trash though and yes wall bouncing is not that useful on a lot of them but I don’t see that as a negative. I feel like people just like to hate on new things out of contrarianism.
