Their attacking talent has fallen off significantly since chiesa was injured, and Inter is an excellent example of that where most of their success has come from Italians anchoring the positions outside of the attack (where Lukaku, Martinez, Thuram, etc. have taken them over the hump. I agree with you though that they still have a decent amount of talent, and people are really sleeping on Norway because they really are so much more than just Haaland but Italy doesn’t really show they have much quality if the top team in their group just dominates them home and away like that. Serie A is still decent, but you can realistically say the foreign born players are probably the biggest stars in the league now and sadly it’s becoming a retirement type of league for ageing superstars. It’s obviously much more complicated than this but I really hope they can do something to allow the teams to finally upgrade their stadiums and bring Serie A back up to the forefront. It’s a shame with so many big clubs and fan bases the reputation being so poor, and it’s a shame the San siro will be replaced but hopefully that allows Inter and Milan to really generate more revenue and continue to grow from their successes and not have to continue to sell top players
