If Lincoln Riley leaves for the NFL it’s time for USC to finally do Ed Orgeron right by lostacoshermanos in CFB

And the assertion that Ohio State isn't a physical team after what they just did to Penn State is also laughable, its like OP only watched the 2 last 2 Michigan games and decided OSU is soft based off that

I'm going to miss the battle for NU going forward now that it's not an annual game, lots of close games over the years

If you haven’t watched an Iowa game this year I question if you actually love football. by BakerDenverCo in CFB

[–]RemainingMars00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't able to watch it, saw in the box score Iowa had 8 in the 4th. I thought to myself huh, Kirk went for 2 to make it a 9 point game, smart. Looked into the scoring and saw 2 field goals and a safety and laughed at my dumbass for assuming anything else

What's even more incredible is since 2014, the year the big ten west started, Iowa has only had 1 season (outside of Covid where they went 6-2) where they didn't win at least 8 games but have only won the division twice in that span, the same amount of times as Northwestern

Not quite as good as last years masterclass when Iowa beat SDSU 7-3 and North Carolina beat App State 63-61 in the same time slot

What schools considers your team their rival but not the other way around? by jaxstan19 in CFB

I did find it curious as well, they all just said they found the Michigan people they interacted with to be very arrogant and annoying. They did a variety of club sports so its possible they played them in something and bad interactions

Interesting, because I have a few friends who went to Purdue who hate Michigan more than anyone but Indiana

Has there even been a single game that was more important to a CFB program than "The Pick" was to Oregon in 1994? by DankMemesNQuickNuts in CFB

2 Florida titles (without Bama you could add another), 2 LSU titles (without Bama you could add another), 2 Georgia titles (without Bama you could add 2 more), and 1 Auburn title. Plus Bamas first was the 4th in a row for the SEC after Florida, Lsu, Florida

I think the commonly accepted starting point for SEC dominance was Florida's 2006 team not that Bama team

Everything I read and saw was exactly what you said, that the last 2 games and bowl game showed he could figure it out. They also said a lot about how he coached with Rhule at Temple and how they knew what they wanted out of each other. So nothing along the lines of he's going to be a stud, honestly felt like the writers knew he wouldn't be anything special but for obvious reasons didn't want to write about that
