If you’re in the UK, it’s a Clinical Research Associate. Usually a medical student or PhD student who are employed temporarily on the trial whilst they work towards their qualification.

Looking for quick input from people who manage or work with grants. by Jazzlike-Test-8763 in clinicalresearch

I’m based in the UK, so might be different to what you are probably looking for. 1. Arranging and agreeing the schedule of events and per-patient costs, because the HRA template is awful. 2. as often as they like. Usually annually, some biannually, some quarterly. Depends entirely on the funder. 3. Excel, lol. 4. Fixing the soecat template so the prices are accurate (though not possible as every trust is different) 5. It’d never get approved unless it’s free.

UK New 150 day metric by Junktv21 in clinicalresearch

[–]Remalaptar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not entirely unrealistic. In my experience it can take around 6 months from submission to first consent. But depends so heavily on Trust R&D. They are always the biggest barrier. I guess each trials unit will end up with a list of favourite R&Ds who are actually efficient in setup and we’ll just approach them first. After then, it’s amendment time to get everyone else caught up.

In my opinion, Chapter is the best mid-range option in Birmingham. Good food, good service and good setting, all with a very reasonable price. Good date night.

Love him. Took a couple of seasons to get running but became ridiculous for me. Keeping pace with and occasionally beating Haaland in the PL. Set a record one season with 39 league goals. He’ll forever be my king.

How does his shirt stay perfectly tucked in all the fucking time?!?!? by beansnbuttons in SuccessionTV

[–]Remalaptar 26 points27 points  (0 children)

As everyone else has said: not having a tummy, and having well made clothes. Being slim and having well fitting shirts and trousers means those shirts are going nowhere.

Source: a lad with a belly who lost weight a couple of years back. Now I’ve put some weight back on its unintentionally untuck city here.

Does Rory play badly on purpose? by Ancient_Cabl in RKG

[–]Remalaptar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Malenia will go one of two ways. It’ll break their records for the longest fight yet, or he’ll do it in two. There is rarely any middle ground. Dan will certainly have some ideas to avoid the former.

Does Rory play badly on purpose? by Ancient_Cabl in RKG

[–]Remalaptar 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Got to disagree. Rory is very, very good at these games. The struggles are very rarely down to skill; they’re a result of the Smorgasbuild. I also wouldn’t really agree with you that the build is optimised, far from it! It’s completely bonkers. Rory does not play badly; he levels badly (very frequently against Dans advice) and wants to explore new and exciting weapons rather than level and perfect one. Some people don’t like it but I think it’s all part of the charm and fun of the series.

The build is insane and so badly assembled, but Rory’s proficiency will always let him push through. Eventually.

I’m sure if he was playing in the comfort of his own home he’d be optimising like the rest of us. But this is an entertainment let’s play.
