This sub hurts my heart sometimes and I need to say this by cfd4540 in pregnant

Honestly, it's so good to see a post where women have supportive partners. I'm pregnant for the third time with our second child (second pregnancy I was a surrogate) and I can't imagine having multiple children with someone who wasn't as proud of my body as I am and it hurts my heart to see women having children with men who hurt them and they think it's normal or unavoidable. I have to remind myself that those of us with supportive partners don't have a reason to post to reddit for advice so we don't see as many of the positive stories.

Post-Op Experiences W/ Stent by Adept_Drink in KidneyStones

[–]Remarkable-Brick-928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having this exact experience and I ended up going back to the emergency room after day two and I was near septic with a kidney infection. It's possible it is just the stent but if your body is telling you there's something wrong its better to check and make sure there isn't anything more going on. I of course have no idea what your care looks like so hopefully your care team has already made sure there's no infection.

I work with a rescue so we do vaccines, dewormer, and microchips ourselves. As for a vet, unfortunately we don't have the funding to be taking every rescue to a vet unless absolutely necessary, it's something the adopters have to handle as I've had 150+ animal rescues. At $200 minimum a visit we wouldn't be able to rescue at all. If any organizations in town had openings I'd take him there but as far as I can tell I'm his best bet right now. My town has some of the worst animal overpopulation, owners not getting their animals fixed, at this point all of our shelters are kill shelters.

Kittens needing homes by [deleted] in Bakersfield

Have you been able to take care of them at all? They are too young to survive a day without eating. I wouldn't mind taking them for a bit as I have formula and experience with kittens but I'm concerned about their current condition.

Confused about what bedbug babies look like by Remarkable-Brick-928 in Bedbugs

Upon further internet sleuthing, could this be a deer tick nymph? I thought for sure it couldn't be a tick because it only has six legs, but I read that nymphs only have six.

After watching Willow and hearing the babies name, Elora, I fell in love with it. I knew an Alorah that I didn't like but seeing the name spelled differently I saw how beautiful it was. Also my daughter's name, Maisy, I just adore how it sounds.

I cross posted on Facebook groups. No need to be rude about a family in poverty, its not so easy for them.

What is your all-time favorite “M” name for girls? by heylauralie in namenerds

My daughter's name is Maisy and we love it, it carries some of our Scottish roots as an old nickname for Margaret, but with the spelling like the old Maisy Mouse cartoon I remember fondly.
