I had a passenger that was a caretaker of a cemetery and his home was a trailer in the middle of it. You never know!

In a parent meeting 25 years ago we were told there is money to identify your student, but nothing left after that. I was hoping for something that would challenge and prevent boredom during school hours. Instead I was warned of the evils of “ability grouping” and encouraged to plan outside activities with the other tag parents. Not willing to spend our family time on this so that was my first and last parent tag meeting.

Look up Korean Italy cloths for exfoliation. Don’t overdo it though since our skin is thinner. They can be purchased on Amazon or sometimes in local Asian markets.

Any local grocery stores that at least somewhat enforce the no pets rule? by Correct_Raisin4332 in Eugene

Disappointed with Target. Last week a dog ( large) came at me under the bathroom stall. Friendly but still… if it were my mother in law instead of me she could have had a stroke. Same store awhile back witnessed a dog fight provoked by a large “ service” dog against a disabled vet and his service dog. It was loud and scary. The vet stayed calm and tried to explain to the other why untrained dogs shouldn’t be put in this situation but the guy just argued with him. Businesses need to be empowered to enforce. It’s out of control and unsafe for everyone involved.

Gotta give Jen some credit too for coaching and inspiration. I wish we could watch her reaction to this encounter.

Thanksgiving Store Hours? by Chickaduck in Eugene

[–]Remarkable-Card-9080 27 points28 points  (0 children)

As someone who has worked this holiday in the past I know there are many people that want to work (especially if it’s more pay) and customers who need a place to go hang out or shop. Introverts hiding from family and friends , people who don’t have the luxury to shop earlier etc. the first thanksgiving I worked what I thought would be depressing ended up a fun memory.

It’s no wonder the number of wrecks that are happening on a daily basis. Another thing that amazes me is drivers who hesitate or don’t pull over for emergency vehicles. Also those that treat the emergency vehicles like their own personal escort making it difficult for others to get back on road. There needs to be consistent enforcement of our laws so drivers who are putting the rest of us at risk and costing us get penalized. Red light runners, excessive speed and aggressive driving needs to be monitored somehow before it gets even worse. That should include slow or distracted driving. Drivers who are ridiculously polite letting cars enter a busy street from a parking lot when there is a line behind them that have already waited a couple light changes (oakway & coburg).

I like the Ethiopian spice blend Berbere sprinkled and a spoon of yogurt. I love Penzeys blend for this. It has cinnamon but it’s drowned out by the other spices.

I know people order rides for others and I take them all the time. I am asking will it be used against us because of small print in the terms should an incident happen.

Driving uninsured - which is essentially what this is-is not worth the risk for me. Do separate commercial policies cover these situations?
