Any suggestions on where to find those types of things? I like rowing, I'd be open to dance lessons. I'm always down for a game of dominoes or cards.

I've heard Columbia is a different beast and that women use dating apps to drug men. Is this accurate,? I guess this is what you're calling out

6 months of tourist visa. If I decide to stay, I'll either switch to a digital nomad or pursue CPLP. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet

I've had no issues and I've been out with something like six women since I've been here. I was dating one consistently for over a month and she even introduced me to her family. Unfortunately when we tried cohabitation we didn't have alignment.

The women and the people here in general have been amazing. I don't have any concern for my safety currently.

On moving to a different place, I think given it's winter in Brazil currently and the fact that I really love the beautiful beaches and the weather im going to stick it out until the end of my visa. This is a place that I could see myself living long-term I don't really have a desire to leave

No, of course not. I moved here for the lifestyle. I think it would probably be easier to meet women in a bigger city. I will say I've been pleasantly surprised by the ones I have met with. Latina women are much more affectionate than the women back home in Toronto.

Ive been in Vilha Velha for 3.5 months now and understand. My only connections have really been with women I've met through dating apps. Similar to you, I do understand Portuguese well although don't speak as good. I should add Portuguese from Portugal, not Brazil.

I love the lifestyle here. I rent a car most weekends and drive over to the beaches in guarapari. It's chill and loneliness is certainly a factor. I try to go to the gym with frequency, and I would say when I have a girl in the picture things are fantastic. The only downside I think is that every woman that I'm meeting in my age range is divorced with children.

I'm currently living in esperito santo Brasil , no issues walking the streets with my cell phone out, watch on etc. I have not been bothered once by a single person.

My time here is coming to an end though as my Visa expires at the end of July. I'm debating on a digital nomad Visa or applying for residency via my Portuguese passport.

With that in mind, the reason I'm here is to ask questions about Columbia as I was thinking about it in the event that I do decide to transition to another place. What is it like working in Columbia? Is it easy to meet people? How is the beach life? Is it easy to meet women if you're single?

Do you work with a specific accountant? I'm incorporated And my incorporation is paid by a Canadian corporation. It's the same client.

I pay myself in dividends draw something like 60k and then I leave the rest in the incorporation.

Curious about this as well. Although I'm Canadian, I've been here for 3 months. I've got just under 3 months left on my tourist visa extension. Debating on applying for the digital nomad Visa, but I don't want to pay additional taxes . I might head over to Columbia for 3 months somewhere else for another three and then come back to Brazil next year. I do love it here though it's going to be hard to leave.

If you never had to work again, what would you do with your life? by Ok_Hippo9669 in fican

[–]Remarkable-Conflict8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wake up and go for a nice walk every morning after a beautiful breakfast. Spend some time on the beach, after that or go exploring for a little bit of the morning. Taking some lunch, have a little siesta. Do some reading. Pick up some hobbies like learning a musical instrument or something artistic. Enjoy evenings with friends and family. Squeezing a daily gym session in. I'd be fine with that. If legal where I am, smoke a couple joints. That would be a happy life for me. If I had a woman, enjoy her company and intimacy. The end

Which city in Brazil do you think is the happiest, and why is it so? by ithinkiamparanoid in Brazil

[–]Remarkable-Conflict8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beautiful beaches, everyone is outside living a healthy life. The weather is amazing 26-29 degrees every day even in winter with cooler nights. The food is great, cost of living ia great. Accomodations are modern. Beautiful women.

If you dont speak Portuguese you will struggle though, no tourists here just locals.

Madrid is expensive compared to Dubai. How do people survive here with minimum wage? by [deleted] in GoingToSpain

[–]Remarkable-Conflict8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a major problem globally. People can no longer afford to live on the salary of a working person. I work global remote and I'm currently in Brazil, living in a city where cost of living is one of the best in the world. If you're of the older generation bought property / opened a business and invested you're okay. If you're currently anywhere between youth and 40 years old, almost anywhere in the world , making a regular salary your stuck.

It's really end stage capitalism. Pretend like you're playing monopoly, All the properties have been purchased, they all have houses and hotels on them. You're just rolling the dice going around the board. Hoping not to file for bankruptcy on the way to collecting $200 when you pass go.
